The lost hybrid

The lost hybrid

He informs me that he will be in his office on the main floor if I need anything. Opening the book I inhale the smell and smile to myself. I decide I will read while bathing so I run another bath and sink into it with the book. I know that books and water do not mix but there is something so relaxing with the thought. I struggle through the first couple of sentences before it begins to get a little easier. Then, I do not realize time passing as I lose myself in the story. When the water begins to grow cold I dry off and head to the bed. Even though it is still early I doze off while reading the book on the bed. I wake to the smell of dinner and the sound of many voices clambering for food.

Another side of Her

Another side of Her

“a thought inducing read” Regardless, I didn’t put the book down till I was done. When I looked up, it was late, and I hadn’t even realized that I had been reading with the automatic sensor lights that had come on. My watch revealed that it was almost eight pm. I had been reading for almost twelve hours. I grabbed my laptop and opened it. Fifteen minutes later, I had ordered ten thousand copies of March Madness. I had only stopped at ten thousand because that was all that was printable at the moment.

The Bookstore Temptation

The Bookstore Temptation

Lena woke up the morning after a little earlier than usual. The sun was just rising itself above the horizon, casting long shadows on the empty street. The bookstore in early morning light seemed to be otherworldly — serene, serene, like a cathedral. She liked it best at this hour. No customers yet, no distractions. Just her, the scent of paper and ink, and the gentle thrum of old stories ready to be read aloud again. She pushed the front door open and stepped inside, savoring the creak of wood beneath her boots.

Staying with him

Staying with him

She had known the market existed and had never been in the three years she had lived six streets from it because Saturday mornings had always been sessions or catching up or something. She went on the second Saturday and spent an hour in it and came home with things she did not need and felt better than she had in months. She liked reading in the middle of the day, which felt like an extravagance, which was ridiculous because she was a woman who read for pleasure regularly and had always considered it a priority and had somehow never managed to do it between nine and five before. She liked making dinner without rushing. She had

THE MAFIA'S CAPTIVE ANGEL

THE MAFIA'S CAPTIVE ANGEL

What better way to eliminate boredom than by reading a book? I had recently downloaded a reading app, where you can read your favourite stories of different genres. Right now I am reading a novel called Loving Hayden. It is about two teens who were once archenemies but later became friends with their enemies. Okay, maybe not friends with benefits, more like enemies with benefits. I was eager to see where their relationship was going to lead. I continue to flip through my phone as I read the story. I was so engrossed with the story that I didn't realize how much time had passed. I was disturbed by the sound of a knock at the door.

Bloodstained Promises

Bloodstained Promises

By eight o’clock in the evening, I found myself sitting in the library, staring at the same book that I had been reading for the last four hours, unable to concentrate. The campus library stayed open till eight-thirty during the weekdays for students and though I had a paper due in one of my classes, the thought of reading ‘Ethics for the Modern World’ wasn’t appetizing.

Save Me, My Alpha, My Mate

Save Me, My Alpha, My Mate

By the Night Blood pack? I could feel a change in our location. Instead of the must of sweaty bodies, it felt cool yet warm. Somewhere I wouldn't mind sitting back and reading for hours. When was the last time I read a good book? Pretty sure it was before my parents passed. I didn't have the time or safety of relaxing in Tim's house, getting sucked into a book trance.

Loveliest regrets

Loveliest regrets

Even if I don't want to. I was not in a mood to do anymore paperwork so, reading a book seemed the best option. After looking for the book in my office I came on a conclusion that I might have left it in the library. So, I stood up and decided to go on a searching spree for it as I looked at the clock before going out; because it was almost a quarter past six, in the evening, the library would be locked.

Fated To The Alpha Masters

Fated To The Alpha Masters

To do nothing for hours on end feels strange and uncomfortable; I don't know how people manage to pass hours doing nothing. The library, with its many corridors filled with books, holds not only stories still new to me but also studies of the packs I've come to know here, where I met Zachary. The library has been the best place for me to spend time. Here, silence is cherished, and I enjoy that. Time slips away from me when I'm engrossed in new romance and adventure stories. As the rain continues to fall outside, tapping rhythmically on the windows, its sound becomes a constant melody accompanying my readings. The library is illuminated by ancient chandeliers and lamps emitting a soft, comfor

A little Bit of Faith

A little Bit of Faith

Opening my phone, I type out the perfect text. -Hey! How are you?- Faith. I’m a literary genius, clearly. I groan, disappointed with my conversation starting skills as I wait for a text message to come through. Three very long and disappointing minutes pass and I decide reading makes time move much faster than staring at the device I’m basically begging to ding. I pick up my romance novel and immediately I’m sucked in. A dashing prince is racing against time to grab the magic tears of the moon so he can turn his beloved into her human form so they can finally be together.

I truly fell in love with this book! So many emotions while reading this book. Very well written and relatable. I'm glad to see authors supporting other authors. Otherwise I may not have came across this book. I can't wait to read more of your work.

This book isn’t the typical man whore teenage high school story. I love it. It breaks the norm. Full of drama if u need it, but not too much that ur suffocating from it. This book teaches the importance of healing from physical violence. Both main and both sub characters are amazing. Just loved it!
