I browsed the shelves, and I read the titles. I paused in front of a book that I deemed the most interesting. I pulled it out of the shelf and stared at it, contemplating whether to get on with it or not. Michael asked, Alissa ventured further into the shop, she saw the sign for 'History'. Alissa turned into the area and scanned the spines. There appeared to have been two human world wars as that topic featured heavily. She picked one of the larger books up, scanning the back. Michael saw what she was looking at. “If you're looking for fighting techniques that won't help, they used their guns and planes.” Alissa mouthed the words back. “Don't ask,” he responded. “I'm looking to know more about...” Alissa waved in the general vicinity. Michael tapped at his chin and started looking at the books.

After I went home to dress as Cassie and then left to Cole's house. I walked to him and took his history book from his hands. "Help me." He said and I rolled my eyes. "Explain how did the World War 2 happen?" I read the question and turned to Cole who is waiting for me to answer. "What? Let's just copy it from the internet." He said and I sighed. I opened the history book and pointed at the World War 2 section. I showed it to him and gestured him to type it.

I say, shaking my head, half-smiling. She softly laughs behind her palm, nodding in acknowledgement. "Oh, yeah, I know exactly what you mean. Only part of history that is interesting is when it’s a personal account from someone or the Holocaust, but when it comes to the broader history of the war, it is boring. I guess for me, it's the psychology and behaviours that are more intriguing to me." She taps her chin, and I raise a quizzical brow. "So what is your favourite era? You must have a few." I ask and watch in fascination as her eyes twinkle with excitement.
