Bestie Contract Novels & Stories

"Jolene, you can't be this cold. Half those assets came from my hard work. If you take everything, how am I supposed to live?" I jerked my arm free. "Your hard work? Be honest with yourself. Who built that company into what it became? Without me, it would've gone under years ago. You cheated, broke the law, and now you're asking me for money?" "I don't care!" he snapped. "I want those assets back. And if I don't get them, I'll show up here every day and make sure you can't work." "You can try." I met his glare. "But the second you pull this again, I'm calling the police. Then you'll have more to worry about than the assets."

He promised that as long as I went in and went along with his arrangements, he would promote me and even give me a raise… "I'm only getting paid 18 dollars an hour now, and I keep getting yelled and shouted at all day while they keep making things horrid for me. I really don't feel like carrying on anymore…" Then, the speaker finally turned to look at me, so I could finally see her full face. "Do you think I should agree to his proposition?" she asked. "I mean, as long as I get paid, I'm willing to do just about anything." I finally managed to take a good look at the person talking to me. It was none other than my best friend, Lacey Donnovan.

She felt that the elves striking King Matthew’s stronghold a few hours after EBEE elders told her to cut ties with the king’s youngest child wasn’t any coincidence. “Three days ago, we received words from an EBEE representative verifying that your contract with us was going to end, stating that it was in everyone’s best interest. However, we had been discussing signing you for another 3 years, as you know. What are your thoughts about it?” said one of the team officials.

The ride home was short and quick and before I knew it, I was running out of the car, hoping I’ll find a way to stop Brie before my parents could even meet her. Brie was a friend of mine, a friend with benefit. We had an agreement that bounded us just to the rules of FWB and nothing else. As time passed by, Brie demanded more, she wanted to know where I was, who was with, and what I was doing, and started acting like she was my girlfriend. That actually pissed me off and I ended the arrangement, breaking off the contract before its due time and paying her a half million for breach of contract. It was supposed to be a million dollars that I was to pay her but because she breached the contract

Rond's voice was deafening, and I winced in pain. But I like Zac as a friend now. If I say that, I'm sure Bebe will get angry! "I already agreed, Bebe, and signed the contract," I said. Rond looked even more confused! "What contract? What did you sign?" he shouted again. I think Bebe might burst his tonsils from shouting! "It's a contract that allows us to still see each other in exchange for giving Zac an heir. And I'm not allowed to have sex with anyone else, Bebe. Only with Zac."

He was curious as to where Beatrice's new courage was coming from. "For Joy but partially the contract" Goerge replied not lowering his aura for her aura. Beatrice nodded like she understood what he said. "If I remember correctly, no contract was signed!" Beatrice said and Goerge coughed a little as it was sudden. He never expected Beatrice to be smart. "Yes, it was an unwritten contract" Goerge replied instantly as he fabricated another silly excuse for making her stay. "As long as it was not mentioned when I started working, it's not effective, I would love to stay here but my studies will be affected, and all of this is for Joy. Nothing else" Beatrice said calmly

She doesn't wholely believe Simon but as they say, there's no harm in trying. "Are you sure this is legit?" Bea asked repeatedly upon reading the contract. "Do I look like I scam people?" Simon asked. He took his ID wallet from his bag and place everything on the table. Bea was speechless seeing his valid IDs. "Fine." Bea immediately signed the contract. She already read it a lot of times and everything is good so far. She finds out that the condo Simon referring to was one of the condo units she dreamed to live in before. She had no idea how Simon was able to ask for half a discount from his friend. The power of connection.

“No leverage of any kind, and definitely no surprises. I hate surprises.’ I nodded thoughtfully, wondering what would happen if I actually tried surprising her. “…I can do most of that.” Axel groaned. “Alexei.” “I said most,” I repeated with a pout. “Which brings me to my condition.” Brielle closed her eyes. “Here it comes.” “I want a contract.” She stared at me. “A what?” “A friendship contract,” I revealed with a bright smile. Axel blinked. “You’re kidding.” “Dead serious.”

But at what cost? She flipped the folder open, revealing the meticulously drafted contract within. The legal jargon made her head spin, but certain phrases jumped out at her: One-year term. No romantic expectations. Public appearances required. Emily huffed a laugh under her breath. No romantic expectations? That was rich coming from a man like Liam Westbrook—practically the poster child for eligible billionaire bachelors. Her phone buzzed on the coffee table, jolting her out of her thoughts. She picked it up and saw a message from her best friend, Becca:

He had me by the throat and there was absolutely nothing I could do about it. I had totally forgotten all about the contract and now my hands are tied. I sank into my seat as I felt the tears form in my eyes. ‘Why the f*ck am I crying?’ I wiped my eyes with the back of my hand and exhaled. ‘This is only for a while. The contract is to last for a year, right? You got this. You can do this, Jade.’ ‘He wants to see you break but don’t let him get to you. All you have to do is be good at your job and avoid him, you’ll be fine.’
