Gabriel said, hugging me.
“Yes. Yes, he is,” I laughed.
His chest rumbled with his deep laughter.
“Oh, I need to go do Luna duties.”
He pulled back, concern all over his face. “Where?”
“Outskirts. Death walk.” I held up my hand before he could protest. “Halia is coming with. James is getting the rigs ready. I’m fine, Gabriel.”
He didn’t reply, but stared at me intently.
“Hurry back,” he said, then kissed my forehead. “I’ll go call Bear and reset.”
