Emily screamed, struggling violently as the assistant used all his strength to hold her back. "Blood for blood..." Gabriel sat on the ground, repeating the phrase. His eyes turned red, filled with panic. Then, he slowly stood up and staggered toward the door. "Blood for blood, Catherine, I’ll trade my life for yours... Please, come back." Gabriel walked down the stairs of the apartment building, not even bothering to put on shoes. When he got into his car and sped off, the assistant ran after him.
