I ask a gamma and he claims that Gabriel drove off to the east, apparently he had helped Gabriel earlier with replenishing the water supply of the said omega village to the east, he even offers to take me there and I agree. We drive into the village and the first thing I spot is Gabriel's car, yet no sign of him. The village happens to he over crowded with omegas, because it happens to be the wedding of two of their own.

Gabriel. He was walking between two men in black suits, his hands cuffed in front of him. His hair had been cut short, his beard was completely shaved, and he looked thinner than the last time I saw him. But he still stood tall. His eyes were still sharp. He didn't look down, and he didn't look like a man who had lost. He stared straight ahead, toward the camera, as if he knew I was watching. My tears fell. Lucas, who was lying on his stomach on the carpet, looked at me in confusion. Ethan stopped crawling and stared too. Noah, who was in my arms, lifted his tiny hand and touched my wet cheek.

All of them sat there, unable to look Gabriella in the eye and clearly unwilling to talk in front of the others as she peppered them with her questions. “Do you want that bastard to come back? To kill your people without cause as he did before?” Gabriella took a deep breath. The pain was getting horrible and she was having trouble breathing. It seemed the more she got worked up the quicker the infection spread. She was still waiting for an answer when one of the angels appeared in the room. They had found something they thought might stop the infection from spreading and needed Gabriella to be moved to their house in the city.

From the look in her eyes, you could tell she had to be around Azz’s age. “OK! WHO BROKE-!?” She suddenly noticed me and her eyes widened, “it?” Azz introduced, “Fayda, this is Gabe. He is a fallen angel. Gabriel came here not long after you left.” I started to panic a little. Was she talking about the shelf that I broke? Now that I think about it.... How did I break the shelf like that? She suddenly got this calculating look as she stared at me, “Never mind.” The healer then came towards me, “Jeez, Azz, can’t you send me a letter about these things…”

Gabriel simply sighs, then turns his head and continues staring into the flames of the fireplace. I take my leave and walk upstairs, trying to push the fact that this is affecting me from my mind. Hmm, I wonder if this is my curse for killing so many people before - walking an eternal life without someone at my side.
