As of now, her grip only tightened slightly on the little spoon in her hand while he slowly opened his cat-like eyes and avoided her gaze. "Torturing would be a better word," he whispered in hopes of staying alive so he could go home and cut his tongue for being so sharp. What was wrong with him? "Glad you understood my intentions." If you can't trust me, then maybe we shouldn't be together." She said, her voice barely above whisper and her eyes teary. But she felt like this was all a dream, they have been quarreling lately but not like this. It has never been like this. Earlier today when she told her sister, Eloise, about this dinner, they all hoped for an engagement. But this doesn't look like an engagement dinner, or does it?. This was some of the last words Aurelia heard from her boyfriend before she stumbled heartbroken into a bar where she meets the man who changed her life.

It's only today that I'm fulfilling a small dream of Jessica's. Hurry up and explain things to my dad! "Come on, be good. I've got a gift for you." A scoff escapes me. "Rodney, do you hear me clearly? Go explain it to your father yourself!"

George Sunther doesn't show up on the day we're supposed to get engaged. His family is nowhere to be seen either. My heart twists painfully. He's always like this. He always tells me I have to be more tolerant and magnanimous when it comes to Winona because she's his sister. I watch as he leaves in a hurry after answering a call from Winona. Then, I stop hesitating and call my parents. "Mom, is the Zowski family still up for a wedding?"

Can we please—” Lewis interrupted, a smirk forming on his lips. “What do you want, Ethan?” “She’s not available right now. In fact, she’s under me, and I’m inside her. Are you serious?” he stammered, disbelief evident in his tone. “Dead serious,” Lewis replied, his confidence radiating through the phone. “Lily is mine now, and I’m not letting you back in. So back off.” Ethan’s frustration bubbled to the surface. “You think you can just take her away from me? She deserves better!” “Better than you? I've never discriminated against anyone because of their gender, and neither have I ever mistreated any of the employees. But then, I proceed to see the social media post that has gone viral. "A certain company gives male employees an additional allowance of a thousand dollars a month! Male and female employees are given different treatment!" Having caught on right away, I call a staff meeting and announce, "All of the company benefits have been canceled. You will only receive the basic benefits listed in your employment contract." Everyone goes up in arms.
