Betty laughed, a harsh, mocking sound . “Oh, poor Vivica. You and I both know you can’t afford luxury items.” She scoffed, turning toward the attendant. “You are just a plaything to Adrian, and playthings don’t get spoiled. Your value ends in the bedroom.” She spun back to the attendant. “Give me the bag, I’ll pay double for your trouble.”
Betty began rummaging her purse for her card.
“That will be a hundred grand, Ma’am.”
