Shadows of Solitude

Shadows of Solitude

The morning light filtered weakly through the curtains, casting fractured patterns on the floor — much like my thoughts, splintered and jagged. I sat at the small kitchen table, clutching my cup of cold coffee, staring at the leather-bound book *Reflections of the Forgotten* open before me. The stories inside weren’t just tales — they were warnings, lessons written in sorrow and hope. Women who had lived as shadows, trapped in lives borrowed from others, fighting to reclaim their own reflections.

Shadows & Whispers

Shadows & Whispers

Damian! "Guide me," I pleaded as I closed my eyes. I stepped through the back door and saw Damian on the floor. He couldn't breathe, panic filled his eyes, fear spread across his face. I raced to his side and tried to hold him. My arms moved through him and he disappeared. This was my image of what Prue had told me. My scream filled the air and reverberated my ears. The house turned into ash and fell around me. I stood, holding out my hand as the ash fell. Slowly, the grayness started to turn black. I was back in the abyss.

From my Bully to CEO

From my Bully to CEO

“Wow. Gray really went all out with the color palette—beige and black. Bold choices.” Theo plopped down on a couch. “At least he’s consistent.” “So if we rearranged his books alphabetically,” Nate said, tracing his finger along the spine of Grayson’s books. “would that drive him insane or just mildly irritate him?” “Normally, it would drive him insane,” I said. “But it’s you guys so he’ll just be mildly irritated.” “But would mildly irritated multiplied by two push him to full-blown insanity?” Josh asked. Before I could answer, he flipped Grayson’s pen holder upside down.

Omega (Book 1)

Klark, ‘Tribid Greed’ by Steve Reynolds, and a lot of other books. One by one Trisha returned all the books she'd picked. When she was beginning to get tired and unmotivated, the corner of her eyes perceived a strange book on a shelf not too far from where she was. Its spines were tattered and appeared like spiky wires beneath the poor lighting.

Gifted Shadows

Gifted Shadows

It was quiet for a few minutes and he finally said, “Tilly and I have absolutely no secrets. People like you and me … we can’t be with just anyone. It’s either one night stands, fake short term relationships or nothing. You don’t just find a Tilly on every corner. A woman that will accept you, that if you are totally honest with her … won’t be afraid of you. I never had someone to … to help me. To direct me, and it damn near killed me. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. I call it my dark shadow … it’s a part of me, but it’s a part of me I can mostly keep hidden, that I can control.

Loved this story. I wish their was a sequel. I wanted her with Fletch but Javi is just as amazing. Great story. Loved it talked about their hardships. Most importantly, for me, that she was a Black girl (biracial) trying to fit in and go through life.

HEAT AND RUT. (Alpha Lycan and his Omega Tiger) (MxM)

Chapter: 24. ****** The misty forest canopy blocked the afternoon sun, which was now at its lowest point, and cast an eerie light over the trees and the ground, which glittered like polished black obsidian. Shadows stretched long and sinuous as they snaked their way between trees, hiding behind rocks and bushes and even the barest hint of a fallen leaf. It took several minutes for the thick blanket to fade away, leaving a patchwork of color in its wake. The sky above the forest remained a clear azure with a few puffy white clouds floating slowly overhead, but beyond the treetops, the world had become a vast array of shades of grey, from deep cobalt blue to pale grey, to dull brown. Hundred Shades Of Love

Hundred Shades Of Love

There was silence as everyone watched Mrs. Grace as she glanced through the document President Blossom had submitted to her. Lindsey's heart was beating ten times faster than usual and she just felt like collapsing. She stared at Mrs Grace for a while before shifting her gaze to the two subordinate judges seated close to Mrs. Grace side by side waiting for an order from their boss, before she shifted her gaze to President Blossom who had her gaze on Mrs. Grace as if trying to read her mind. Lindsey sighed closing her sweaty palm as her eyes landed on Reporter Sharon who had her eyes on her and a smirk plastered on her face. "I'm doomed," Lindsey muttered. thank goodness she was seating if no
