Annalisa

Annalisa

We both jumped, startled, to see a stern-looking librarian peering at us over a towering stack of books. “Ahem,” she cleared her throat pointedly. “No… public displays of affection are permitted in the Royal Library.” My cheeks flushed scarlet as Adrian threw me a sheepish grin. “Sorry, ma’am,” he mumbled. The librarian, however, didn’t seem entirely displeased. A hint of a smile played on her lips. “Just… keep it professional in here, alright?” she said, her voice softening slightly. With a final warning glance, she retreated back into the labyrinthine stacks of books. We both burst into laughter, the tension melting away completely.

Killing Game Quarter

Killing Game Quarter

Liam explained, examining a five pound weight, his arms shaking in a struggle to keep it lifted. "How kind of the Loudspeaker asshole." I said sarcastically, "It's good to know that they care more about the quality of life in here rather than the murdering aspect." As Urkstin and I finished looking around the gym, we waved goodbye to Liam and Jambo, and we continued down the hallway, seeing another door on our left quickly after. Behind door number three was a room heavily contrasting the gym. This room was a large library, tall bookshelves filled with books covering every wall. There were also tables and chairs for relaxing and reading, where Risa, Mia, and Poppy were sitting.

The Lion of Shadowfen

The Lion of Shadowfen

Aurelia moved to Zinjo's back, and he carried on his way, “Lions must prove their worth to lead, I hope my brother succeeded, or else my people will be in much trouble.” “What makes you say that?” “Not all lions respect the land. Some see the outside world and seek to make our people in its image. This is not a good thing. Lions must be lions,” Zinjo said. He pointed to a door covering another tunnel. “The scent ends there.” Aurelia had seen the door type before it revolved with a simple push. “I think this is where the thieves guild meets. The city watch searched everywhere down here, and they came up empty, and now we found it on the first try?”

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

I CHOOSE HIM, BUT HE'S MY ENEMY

I asked, hastily changing the discussion. Luckily, Roxie didn't suspect a thing. Her eyes lit up as she looked at the books in her hands. “Yes, I think I'm done. But I'll just check the next row in case I see anything that catches my eye.” As I followed her, asking about the historical section of the library, she seemed as clueless as me. ‎But my freedom didn’t last. ‎ ‎I spotted the twins entering the library. ‎ ‎They didn’t grab books. Didn’t talk. Didn’t even blink. They just stood by a shelf in the back, facing me like statues carved for intimidation.

Once Upon a Full Moon

Once Upon a Full Moon

It will be better for the both of us. The problem remains the same as ever. My guards. There’s no escaping them, unless I try to jump out of my bedroom window, and it’s a long a drop. The fall could kill me even now that my wolf awakened and can heal my human body. At long last we reach the library. The place is vast, rows upon rows of books as far as the eye can see, and nearly devoid of life. Here and there is a young wolf sitting at a desk with a book open in front of them, some of them even making notes on pads of paper. “Do you have a school here?”

This is a good book. Good story line but a note for the author. You need to work on emotions… make me feel what’s going on.. how they are feeling. You are one of the better authors I’ve read on this platform just need more depth to the characters
Kathleen
I really enjoyed this book - it’s like unraveling a series of presents - the story telling is amazing, the FL and ML are both strong, intelligent and - a rarity in most of this kind of novels - communicate to each other! No unnecessary drama, no drawing on - congratulations to the author!

HIS BEAUTIFUL CAGE

HIS BEAUTIFUL CAGE

I was the variable. We reached the pier near 42nd Street and moved through the shadows of the blackout. The city felt lawless, the air thick with the sound of distant sirens and breaking glass. We reached the massive lion-guarded entrance of the New York Public Library, the stone cold and imposing in the moonlight. "Stay behind me," Luciano whispered as we slipped through a side entrance Cassian had breached. We moved through the grand hallways, our footsteps echoing against the marble. We reached the Rose Reading Room—a massive, silent cavern of books and gold-leaf ceilings. Luciano moved toward the 'Historical Records' section, his fingers searching for the false panel his father had descr

His Eyes | Werewolf

His Eyes | Werewolf

‘Wow’ I said looking at all the shelves filled with books ‘there has to be about a thousand of them’ I said gawking at all of them I picked one of the books and started glancing through it while walking through the library ‘I could spend hours in here’ I closed the book and saw a building across from this one with wolves in front of it standing guard. I was in front of the window ‘What’s that?’ I wondered I dropped the book and went out of the main building, as I approached the building the two wolves bowed ‘Luna’ ‘Yeah hi’ I tried to get past but one of them stopped me’

Aesthelia chuckled, oblivious to the thought. She thinks as if they are a group of teenagers who are having fun by making trouble. The two wolves are inside the library. Some of the bookshelves almost fell down because of the space they were occupying. In just a matter of seconds, the door opened when the two wolves pushed with great strength.

HOW TO TRAP A MAFIA BOSS

HOW TO TRAP A MAFIA BOSS

HOPE I sat by the window in a run down library somewhere in the city waiting for Malik. We usually met somewhere open, but for some reason he chose this place. It was perfect for me, Ace had one of his men somewhere around the corner. I stared at the children's book in front of me… the evil tiger and the cub. It was weird. Why and how did a baby lion get involved with a tiger? I wanted to know, but I couldn't bring myself to open the book.

The Forgotten wife of the Billionaire

The Forgotten wife of the Billionaire

Lena stood in the kitchen doorway, watching Eliana talk to her lions as she munched on her apple slices. Dominic was gone. But his presence still lingered—like the scent of his cologne, the weight of memories pressing on her chest. “Max and Leo are best friends now,” Eliana said happily, holding the two lions together. “Who?” Lena asked blinking continuously, to bring herself back from painful memories. “Silly mummy, my lions” Eliana giggled cheerfully.
