Just as the king was about to issue the order to hunt down Diana, the doors to the chamber burst open, and in strode Vladimir, the alpha of the pack and the king's son. "Father," he said, his voice was firm and unwavering. "We cannot simply hunt down one of our own." The king snarled, his face contorting in rage. "And what is 'right', for you, Vladimir?" He turned and left the chamber, his thoughts already turning to how he could help Diana and bring her back into the fold. The king's thoughts turned to the possibility that Vladimir was in love with Diana. He knew that it was forbidden for pack members to mate outside of the mating season of the moon goddess, but he also knew that love was a powerful force that could not be easily controlled. But as he sat alone in the chamber, he couldn't help but wonder what the future held for his pack, and for his son.
