Beyblade: Shogun Steel Characters Novels & Stories

I barely had time to raise the Blade of the Unwritten to block the blow. The impact was deafening. The sound of our blades meeting wasn't a metallic clang; it was the sound of a scream. A shockwave of black and gold energy exploded from the point of contact, shattering the glass jars on the walls and sending thousands of tiny souls flying into the dark. I was thrown backward, my feet skidding across the obsidian floor. My arms were shaking from the sheer power of his strike. This wasn't the Rowan who protected me. This was the **Inverted Beast**—a creature made of pure hate and Elders' rot.

He whirled, instantly shifting into a fighting stance, but one of the attackers had already drawn a weapon—a short blade that gleamed with an unnatural blue light. Silver-infused steel. Everything seemed to slow down. I saw the blade arcing toward Leo's back as he grappled with the first attacker. I saw Enzo's eyes flutter open, confusion and fear crossing his battered face. I saw my own hand reaching out uselessly, too far away to help.

We used the Sovereign Pulse. Eryx became the Grey-Iron Shield, his body expanding until he was a titan of prehistoric metal, absorbing the "Delete" commands of the Avatar. I became the Sovereign Blade, my entire being turning into a shaft of emerald-white light that pierced the heart of the Zero Cycle. The battle for the Twenty-First Cycle was a war of Definition.

Kōjin (grinning at me): “Storm queen. Still making oceans apologize?” Celeste (bowing slightly): “Only on weekends.” He claps Lucian on the shoulder hard enough to make thunder echo. Kōjin: “Good choice, kid. Dragon and phoenix fire. My grandchildren are going to be insufferable.” Lucian goes scarlet. Seras goes supernova. Kōjin snaps his fingers. The mountain splits open, revealing a forge built inside a volcano. In the center: the Shogun Armor of Inferno (crimson plates that move like liquid flame, edged in gold, radiating heat that feels like coming home).

"Hmph!" Gunnr swung his blade. The strike was brutal, enveloping both Ray and Travis. Ray had no choice but to use Exile on both of them, just to deflect the edge of the attack. Blade after blade, Gunnr struck with a cold, mocking grin. "I can swing like this all day. Can you keep using your powers nonstop?" He wasn't bragging. Beast-types were essentially upgraded combat-types. Their advantage was insane explosive power and seemingly limitless endurance. When Gunnr claimed he could slash all day… he absolutely meant it.

Boom! There was already a big gap between Alex’s cultivation level and Spencer. The difference between him and the current Spencer, who King Shura had possessed, was even more significant. King Shura was domineering with the spear in his hands, and the murderous aura around him was intense. The Dragon Bone Sword that Alex had formed a sword array with was easily cut through like paper. The tip of the spear slashed across Alex’s chest, and the Benares Dragon Armor was cut through. Golden dragon blood spilled out from the cut.

If Samuel had not hurriedly run his energy and relied on his Indestructible Armor to block, it was likely that even someone as strong as him would have been heavily burned by this ray of light. "Interesting." Samuel sneered, but his hand did not stop. It passed through the flowing light and turned around. In an instant, he had already fought against Jade-faced Shura with one sword. Suddenly, the two of them confronted each other crazily. The starlight was endless and the explosions were continuous. The surrounding air was torn apart, and the stars were all moving. Both sides had their own strength. Samuel was like the wrath of a dragon. That Jade-faced Shura also possessed the might of a whi

Never in their dreams did they expect this to happen. One of the mecha lifeforms said angrily, “Sanguine, are you going to accept this brat's control? He’s only in the middle stage of nine stars! Besides, he’s of a different species, so we can’t possibly share the same mind! Do you guys want to live under his shadow for the rest of your lives?!” The one known as Sanguine was a mecha beast with two wings on its back, a tiger head, a lion body, and a snake tail.

“—and they already seen out spot. In just an instance, they all prepared themselves in combat. Saypher with his blade that have a hint of blue. Migo's arrows creating a luminescent red light. Kheina's Claymore with a vibrant brown… In this place that is as dark as my hair, why is it only me who look so lame?!?!?
