Beyond The Boundary Novels & Stories

"The breakthrough you just experienced proved that you're accessing abilities beyond normal supernatural limits. And you did it without being fully awakened. Imagine what you'll be capable of once the barriers fall completely." Kael moved to stand behind my chair, his hands settling on my shoulders with possessive protectiveness. "Then we make sure the barriers fall on our terms, in a controlled situation where she's protected." "There's no controlled situation anymore," Celestine said sadly. "The Convergence is tonight. The eclipse is already beginning. When the moon reaches its zenith in its darkened state, the barriers between worlds will be at their thinnest." "Which means what?" Thane a

Neither line disrupted the other. --- 11:57 PM — Unmarked Boundary, Between Sectors > Not everything has to be charted to mean. > Some things are held by witness, not by measure. > Some things endure not because we pin them— but because we traverse them, over and over. > Until the way teaches us back.

"Do you hear how absurd you sound? Isn't Andrea too delicate for IVF? Or is the mortgage crushing you now? Cruise ship losing its sparkle? You need me as bait to keep him hooked?" The bank's collection calls had clued me in. Steven had been quietly footing their house payments for years. They'd never relinquish such a lucrative catch willingly. Genuine remorse would never be in these self-serving souls. Turning to Steven's ashen face, I said, "Modern medicine is a marvel. Get your issue sorted by pros. I'm no miracle worker." Brent jabbed a finger at me, his chest heaving. Blood drained from his face, and he looked as if he'd collapse in the next second.

“What do I do? Jasmine, treat her please treat her!” Jasmine reached for my hand. “Listen to me carefully. Leukemia is treatable but not here. The best treatment is in New York. It’s the only place that can give her the chance she needs.” I sank onto a chair, the room spinning. What did God want from me now? Why all this? I can’t go there, you know that, Jasmine. You know everything.” “I do know,” Jasmine said quietly. “But you have to go. It’s the only option, and there isn’t much time to think.”

Something coiled into the land itself, slow and vast and uninterested in names. I stopped short. Kaden was instantly beside me. “What.” “We’re not alone,” I said. “And it’s not hostile.” That was somehow worse. The ground ahead shifted. A figure emerged, tall and indistinct, its outline wavering like heat over stone. Not human. Not wolf. Something in between that had given up on choosing a long time ago. “Boundary-bearer,” it said, voice layered, old and dry. “You walk where authority does not reach.”

Bella's POV I must say, training has not been easy for me. Everyday, I have to meditate, I have to walk through realms, I have to be examined. Damn, it's just too much, I never expected all these. After enough rigorous training under the prying eyes of the elders, they finally granted me some rest. “You can retire for now. We'll continue in a week.” Nexus breathed into my ears. Phew! Finally, I get a break. Damn. The weight of everything, it just pressed down hard on me right now. I'm tired, but my mind is strained. It's overworked, overwhelmed, completely exhausted.

Neither of them asked how. They already knew. That was worse. Kael stepped forward— And the corridor shifted. Responded. Riven did the same. Same step. Same reaction. Same distortion. “…We’re inside the same space,” Riven muttered. Kael’s voice dropped. “…Or it’s inside us.” The system pulsed again. Stronger. Sharper. [BOUNDARY COLLAPSE IMMINENT] Riven let out a short breath. “…That sounds like something we should stop.”

It hadn’t broken anything. It hadn’t overstepped. It had applied the rules. And reached a conclusion. On its own. “This is different,” I said quietly. “Yes.” That answer came softer. Almost. Aware of what it meant. I stepped closer to the boundary. Raised my hand toward it. There was no surface. No resistance. But I could feel it. A limit. Clear. Intentional. “If I step forward?” I asked. A pause. Then. “Outcome uncertain beyond acceptable range.”

Choice Pure choice And with that We step beyond the boundary ************************************************* The instant we cross Everything disappears No sound No light No form Not even ourselves For one horrifying second I can’t feel anything Not my body Not the others Not even time Then Something speaks Not through sound. Not through the system. Directly into existence itself And the voice says only one thing: “Interesting.” My entire being freezes. Because that voice Didn’t come from the system Didn’t come from the entity It came from something else Something already waiting beyond the boundary

"OK, well let's not glue our skin together." "I have another question. Is the miscarriage part of the reason you don't want to have kids?" "That is part of it. It was such a hard time in my life, and it took me a long time to move on from it. Not that I was ready to be a mom, but moving on from you and what we had created." "Baby, I'm never leaving you again. Also, you would make a great mother." "Can we talk about something else?"
