A Pet for the Mafia Dons

A Pet for the Mafia Dons

A scoop of baked beans added a deep tomato sweetness, while grilled tomatoes softened under a dusting of pepper. There were buttery mushrooms, dark and earthy, and slices of black pudding with their crisp outer crust and rich, savoury centre. Golden hash browns, the sight of which made Bianca giggle, as she thought of little Cian, who loved them. A dish of fried bread brought crunch to the plate, alongside thick toast slathered with melting butter and orange marmalade. * O’Grady fell to it, buttering the bread richly, the way he knew Bianca loved it, and began to feed her gently as she sat, cradled in St. Just’s large, strong lap.

Bikers and Bakeries

Bikers and Bakeries

He asked us, taking something stemming from the oven. “Care for what now?” Teddy asked, looking very confused. “It’s also called plum bolster. It’s baked bread pudding.” I smiled. “ you used to make that every time you came here.” I went over and pulled out plates for Alvin to use. “I figured that today was worth a little celebration. Good memories and dreams for me last night is all.” Alvin looked around and let out a dreamy sigh. “I’m retiring this year to be honest, and I’m thinking about moving here, stateside.”

FALLING FOR THE DANGEROUS EX-BOYFRIEND

FALLING FOR THE DANGEROUS EX-BOYFRIEND

Whereas the real reason why the hard wheat bread is only a small lump is because of the black fungus which has a fertile body on it. He was okay with just eating a little rye bread topped with tomato slices and hot sauce. That's enough filling for him. He was much fuller when he saw his younger sister eating the tuna sandwich so badly that she licked up the remaining sauce and the crumbs left on her fingers. The greatest achievement of being a big brother, he thought sadly.

Brewed For You

Brewed For You

The smell of cinnamon and freshly baked bread clung to the air like hope that refused to die. Aria Hudson set down a tray of steaming muffins on the counter of her tiny bakery, Sweet Haven, her palms still warm from the oven’s heat. She’d decorated the display with the precision of someone who knew aesthetics mattered almost as much as flavor. Each pastry was placed at a perfect angle, every cup of coffee poured with care. It should have been a comforting sight. But this morning, like so many others, the sight felt more like lost hope.

Bite

Bite

I mutter, jumping out of bed. I speed through a shower and dress up in record time. If my scholarship is actually in jeopardy, I can’t take any risks. I throw on my jersey and shoes on the way downstairs. I would be earlier if I could just skip breakfast, but Axel will never let me on football days. I fainted once when I was like 14 cause I hadn’t eaten since the night before, and since then he insists on breakfast and practice, or no practice at all. I usually order this mouthwatering bacon sandwich, but there’s no time for that. I’ve never touched a pot in my life, and I don’t think we have any butter in the fridge, so I guess I’ll be eating dry toast on the way out.

“Got any fresh bread for us?” I forced a smile. “Of course. What can I get for you?” He looked me up and down, a nasty look playing at the corners of his mouth. “How about a smile to start with?” I clenched my teeth, resisting the urge to insult him. “We have rye, sourdough, and baguettes fresh out of the oven.” Rye, huh?” he said, leaning over the counter. “You know what I like about rye? It’s tough. Just like me.”

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

Independence Is a Good Look On Her

She leaned over to inspect all the bread laid out on the counter. "Lionel, what kind of bread did you make?" she asked. "This one's sourdough. That's pumpkin seed, maple oatmeal, and toasted rosemary and olive oil. A little variety for everyone," Lionel replied. "How thoughtful," Fiona said with a smile as she sat down. She preferred sourdough, while Aren enjoyed anything with seed. The variety catered to both their tastes, which she couldn't help but appreciate. In truth, Fiona's feelings toward Lionel were complicated. Ever since they had received the background report and learned their daughter was married with a child, she had felt some reservations about this son-in-law she'd never met.

This is a good book. I enjoyed reading it. It’s been a week now with no new chapters. At least end the book with an ending instead of just left it hanging. It’s getting more interesting & I know the readers would like to continue reading it. You know the feeling without closure, no satisfaction.......

Pretend to Be Tyrant's Future Luna

Pretend to Be Tyrant's Future Luna

This looked like no bread I had ever eaten before in my life. My stomach rumbled again and Baird smiled. “Here.” He placed the bread on a plate before me. “Dig in.” I glanced at the bread, leery, but too hungry to care. I picked it up with both hands. It was warm but felt hard to the touch. I inspected it. “As far as I know, it’s been two days since you’ve eaten.” Baird must have noticed the way I was looking the bread over. “I’ve never had anything like this before.” I turned the bread over in my hands. Would I chip a tooth if I tried to eat it? It felt so hard in my fingers.

Wolfe Ranch

he said with a smile. I followed him inside and stood at the island as he looked through the fridge. He pulled out a glass tupperware bowl and set it on the counter. He opened the freezer next and looked around but couldn't find what he wanted. Briar raced off to look in the pantry for an item unknown to me. He came back moments later empty-handed and I wondered what was up. "I have leftover chicken Alfredo, but no garlic bread or even bread in the pantry. The closest thing I have to bread is waffles," he told me.

Kenneth boasted while patting his stomach. He is right Phoebe is an amazing cook, everything she makes smells and tastes amazing. Phoebe came into the dining room wheeling a cart with an enormous pot and bowls on it. “Alpha, Beta, hope you gents are hungry. Please sit so you can get to it. I've made Dublin Coddle and fresh brown bread,” she chirped happily, motioning for us to take a seat. As it turns out Dublin Coddle is a soup that has sausage, bacon, potatoes, and onion in it. The brown bread was thick and crusty and spread with butter.
