The Alpha's Freakshow
I can hear the laughter behind his voice.
“What! No, I don’t!” I defend myself, but my face betrays me.
“You wouldn’t be the first,” Billy says.
I scoff, hating the idea of someone else wanting him or being with him, and Billy laughs out loud. His laugh is low and grumbly, much resembling what I think a bear sounds like laughing and it brings a smile to my face.
“No, I like someone else,” I say, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.
