Book V Leap

It was quiet, almost sacred, with sunlight streaming through the large windows and rows of books inviting me to lose myself in their worlds. I wandered through the aisles aimlessly until I stumbled across a section on business biographies. My fingers hovered over the spines until I spotted one that looked familiar: Against All Odds: The Rise of Evan Bennett. I pulled the book from the shelf, my heart racing. I hadn't known a biography about him existed. The cover featured a candid photo of Evan, his piercing eyes staring directly at the camera.

Kennedy POV. The weather was bad, but I needed to get that new book, it's Robert birthday gift, who'd knew a grown up man would kill for the newest werewolf love book. I got into my car, drove carefully toward the local book store, they had the new book reserved for me. It was supposed to one quick drive, until I walked into the library. A girl was sitting on a bean bag, her blond hair was covering her eyes with overgrown bangs, she tried to huff them away from her face but to no use. She looked young, maybe she's just here with her parents, looking down at the book she had in her hands it was a kids story. Does she read for the local kids? Or is it just for her?

Bianki whispered, her eyes blinking in anticipation of Lilith's response. "Really?" Lilith inquired, shyly. "I'd never had the chance to have many books. I wanted to read it. Can I borrow some?" "Of course you can," Bianki exclaimed excitedly. "Come on, we'll read my books together." Lilith said, "Umh... Can Tio come with us?" Bianki agreed, "sure." And just as Lilith and Bianki were ready to take a stride towards the door, Carla sprang to her feet right away. Carla took a step forward and crossed her arms in front of them.
