Suddenly I remembered the verse in the Bible which says. << I will lift eyes to the hills _ from when we come tomy help? >> << My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and Earth. >> I suddenly felt comforted remembering this. Then I remembered another verse from the Bible. Which says. << Ask and it shall be given unto you, Seek and ye shall find, knock and it shall be opened unto you. >>

Mom said as she drew Ola into a gentle hug. I walked over to the corner of the room where a little shelf was placed, I pulled out the big, black familiar book. It was my dad's most cherished belonging, his Bible. I opened to his favourite verse, walked over to my mom and handed it to her. 2 Corinthians 5:6-8: "So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord."

A message from an unknown number.

I took out my phone and typed these words in my notepad. "Now if you are here and you have not accepted Jesus as your lord and savior, this is your chance to get right with God, to become His child and enjoy the benefits that come with being a new creation." He said, quoting the book of Romans, chapter eight, verse one as well as the second book of Corinthians, chapter five, verse seventeen.

Xavier's infectious laughter filled the room, lifting my spirits and setting a joyful tone for the day. As we savored the last bites of our breakfast, I suggested that we delve into the spiritual realm by studying a passage from the Bible. I asked Xavier to retrieve two bibles from the shelf, and he eagerly obliged, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. We settled in the cozy living room, the soft sunlight casting a warm glow upon us. The fact that Michael had managed to bring them together was nothing short of a miracle and further proof to her that God answered prayers and healed wounded hearts in ways she could have never imagined.
