Hockey Alpha's Forbidden Flame - A stepbrother romance

Hockey Alpha's Forbidden Flame - A stepbrother romance

“Confirmed wolf activity outside Anchorage. Locals say they’ve seen a large black wolf stalking the tree line. Can you get us some shots?” "Wolves. In Blake’s backyard. Of course,” I mutter. He swiftly turns around, his eyes narrowing. “What did you just say?” “Nothing, none of your damn business.” I take my coffee mug and my mobile and leave the shirtless wonder in the kitchen, feeling his eyes boring into my back. Excitement builds inside me at the thought of getting outside and investigating if there is in fact a black wolf somewhere here in Anchorage. As far as I am aware the biggest black wolf of them all, I left standing in the kitchen. Being the Alpha, Blake is the largest of them al

UNTAMED FATE

UNTAMED FATE

Saliva dripping from its fangs. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t scream. All I could do was pray for the ground to open up and swallow me. It leaped. And then—another blur of movement. A massive black wolf lunged out of nowhere, slamming into the beast mid-air. It was bigger than all the others, it's literally the biggest wolf I have ever seen, either from movie or my dreams. Its fur as dark as night. With a bone-crunching snap, it ripped the beast’s head clean off.

The Black Wolf

The Black Wolf

It hit like a tidal wave, dragging me under all over again. I forced myself to stand, weak and shivering. As I turned toward the mirror, something caught my eye, just for a moment. My wolf was there, but not like any I’d ever seen, she was massive, jet black, darker than night, darker than death itself. Her eyes burned like fire, vivid orange flames dancing in a soulless void. I screamed and stumbled backward, crashing to the floor, my heart pounding like war drums. When I dared to look again, she was gone. Only my own reflection stared back, shaken. What are you? I thought, clutching my chest.

The Darkest Wolves

The Darkest Wolves

Selene's expression hardened as she prepared to respond, but before she could speak, the growl intensified, shaking the very ground beneath them. "We need to leave! Now!" Jason urged, pulling Emily closer as the crowd began to disperse in panic. But before they could move, a figure emerged from the shadows, blocking their path. The moonlight revealed a massive wolf, larger than any they had ever seen, its eyes glowing like embers. The air thickened with tension, and Emily's heart raced as she recognized the danger that lay ahead. "Stay back!" Selene warned, stepping forward. "This isn't just any wolf. It's a harbinger of the chaos to come!"

BROKEN LUNA

BROKEN LUNA

He shouted and waved his hand towards the group. "Where are we going?" I asked as I closed the door. "On a run," Alex said as he pulled Sanna close to him. The pack believed I had a dark brown wolf. Alex had said out loud that he was impressed that my wolf was so dark, and that was the end of anyone thinking anything differently. Liya, my wolf was pure black, one of the legends. But many disliked the Black wolves; they believed they were much more powerful and could be dangerous. The Grand Alpha was the first black wolf to ever be known. Our blue eyes were another unusual feature.

The Lycan King’s Prey

Presently, While Daphne and Liam prepared to confront inspector Hayes, another meeting was going on. Deep within the heart of an ancient, desolate forest, a gathering of the malevolent Black Wolves took place under the shadowy canopy of night. The air was thick with a sinister energy as a hundred of these dark entities, cloaked in human guise, assembled in a large, moonlit clearing. Their eyes glimmered with a malefic light, revealing their true nature as they prepared to unleash chaos upon the unsuspecting nation.

HEALER: She Is The Cure

HEALER: She Is The Cure

The wolves surrounded him, ready to take his life as they were commanded not to leave any survivors except the Alpha's daughter. Then, two wolves burst from the shadows and suddenly started attacking the rogues. One was a huge black wolf, twice the size of all the other wolves, and the other was a brown wolf. The huge black wolf’s eyes gleamed red, symbolizing that he was an Alpha, but that wasn't what made the rogues fear him—the mark on the wolf's face made them recognize him as Alpha Kayden and without waiting, they all took to their heels.

Runaway Wolf

Runaway Wolf

In his gaze there was an amazing spark of intelligence, unusual for an animal. So they stood opposite each other - the dog studied the girl, and the girl studied the dog. The dog had incredible blue eyes. Anika had never seen anything like this before. The fur, completely black and shiny, shimmered in the sun. A beautiful and well-groomed dog. True, it was not possible to decide on the breed. Similar to a shepherd, but very large, probably the size of a St. Bernard, if not larger. If she stood on her hind legs, she would definitely be taller than the girl. Probably one of a rare breed or a cross, and one that could be worth a lot of money. This made Anika think that she could have been kidna

It was so good! Having to chose like that would be so hard, especially after their changes. But great read! It was nice to have an actual story line and not just a bunch of sex. Don’t get me wrong I love the passion in books but this was really good.

Frequently Asked Questions

The 'Black Wolf Book' is a pretty niche title, and I had to do some deep diving to track down the author. From what I found, it seems to be written by a relatively obscure writer named Adrian Cole. He's known for blending dark fantasy and horror, which totally fits the vibe of a book with a title like that. I stumbled across his work while digging into old pulp fantasy novels, and his style has this gritty, almost cinematic quality that makes his stories stand out.

If you're into that kind of atmospheric, shadowy storytelling, you might also want to check out his 'Nightmare' series—it’s got a similar feel. Honestly, discovering lesser-known authors like Cole feels like uncovering hidden treasure. I love how the fantasy genre has so many layers beyond the mainstream hits.
