The girl circled the cottage with various thoughts as she observed the shelves full of medicines. Lizzy only realized her shoulder was wrapped in bandages when she found a mirror. She looked at her body which looked unkempt with bruises in several parts. Lizzy tried to unwrap the bandage on her shoulder and a bite mark appeared clearly imprinted on her shoulder. The bite mark glowed faintly, and Lizzy never knew that Alaric had marked it physically as well as with a magical bond that kept Lizzy from leaving him.
