Bertha hissed, clutching her face. "Logan! Logan, what happened? What do you mean someone died?" Logan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. McMahon, came rushing in, screaming his name. They lived nearby and had driven over immediately after receiving his call. When Mrs. McMahon saw the mangled limbs on the floor, she was so horrified that she fell into her husband's arms. Mr. McMahon's face darkened as he looked around. "Why hasn't anyone called the police yet?" "Mr. McMahon, it was Professor Callahan's fault. He gave the students the wrong data, and that's what caused the explosion," Owen explained quickly while pointing at me.

“We don’t just need your empty assurance. We need a solid plan! You’re the leader and we’re expecting that much from you!” Thomas raised his voice. In a moment of fear and panic, he forgot about the bracelet he’s wearing that tracks their noise level. It showed the decibel he had reached and without a warning, the bracelet he’s wearing activated, exploding on his wrist and cutting off his pulse vein, killing him on the spot. Some of his blood splattered on Jade’s face and on her outfit, causing her extreme annoyance. She shuts her eyes when it happened to avoid the blood from getting into her eyes. She firmly wiped the sticky blood off of her cheek and upper eyelids and sighed heavily.

Thaddeus was looking at me all the time while I was slowly killing the beast in front of me. Then I put the heart of stone in his heart to stop the curse. Theodore uttered in heavy breathing, “You fucking bitch! I’m going to kill you….” I sighed, “Well, it’s too late. You are not coming back anymore!” I watched Theodore collapse on the ground floor while he was holding his breath. He wanted to stay alive, but the heart of stone slowly took all his power, and made his death intolerable. Thaddeus walked towards me, and he cupped my face. Then I break down in front of him because my male best friend is dead.

Naoko's death shocked everyone back to their senses and that was when Tadashi backed out of the journey that he thought was only suicidal. The appearance of these mushrooms told Naoko that they were very close to the end of the original story and that her time to die was approaching. Since she was definitely not going to touch the mushroom, she was sure that something else would come for her, just like what happened when it was time for Hansuke's supposed death.

she added, wiping her tears. "That's...that's horrible," Jimmy whispered and hugged her. "I'm so sorry." "Don't be." she smiled and patted his back. "I am doing well here." He sat back and looked at her sighing. "He's dead," he said. She raised an eyebrow, "Who?" "Adalis." She gasped and widened her eyes, "W-What? How? That's impossible...he has the most dangerous creatures by his side." "I know." Jimmy nodded. "We came up with a plan and it succeeded. He's dead now."

I answer as I run from the room with him in my arms. Susarah comes around the corner, her eyes red and swollen. “Who is it?” I ask, breathless with concern. “Chad.” “What? Chad’s mate is dead?” Susarah shakes her head. “Chad is dead.” My insides turn to water and my legs start to tremble. No! “How?” Susarah glances at Greg. “Alpha... I mean King... not in front of the boy.” She’s right. “Buddy, go with Susarah.” I hand my son over to her. “Don’t be scared. She’ll take good care of you.”

Her mouth moved, but no sound came out. "What is it? If you don't tell me, I'm calling Xander!" Randolph reached for his phone. "Dad, I'm okay." Trista stared at the dirt, her voice jagged and unstable. "It's Cassian... he's dead." Randolph and Ulva froze, their faces turning ghost-white. They shook their heads in sync. "No. That boy—" "His wolf gave out late last night. He was rushed to the clinic, but they couldn't save him."

Todd said and he meant it. There was no way he was letting him die. Todd bent over him and pressed firmly over his wound, but it was useless. He had bled out too much. "I'm not greedy, Alpha." Those were the last words he whispered before he gave up the ghost. Alpha Todd didn't have time to mourn too much because the cry of his youngest and favorite child rang out clearly.
