I muttered, trying not to stare at the way the sun highlighted the sweat on his arms, or how his shirt clung to him in all the wrong—or right—places.
He noticed.
“See something you like, Finnegan?” Levi asked, cocking his head, grinning.
I rolled my eyes. “Just wondering if that much sweat is physically healthy.”
He chuckled. “It’s raw athleticism. I know it’s intimidating.”
“No, just gross.”
Valerie groaned and opened the car door. “Can you two flirt later? If you make me a third wheel for more than five minutes, I swear I’ll throw stones at your heads.”
Levi glanced at me, then back to Valerie. “Where are you guys headed?”
