The First Day at work. Lila I stood in front of the gleaming glass doors of Kensington towers, a skyscraper that dominated the upper East Side of the New York skyline. I looked up at the big building that I could bet had over Sixty floors with a mixture of excitement and nervousness. Today was the first day of my new job as the secretary to Jake Anderson, one of the most influential billionaires in the world. Ofcourse everyone had heard of Jake or seen him in blogs and articles. He was well known for a number of things apart from his billionaire status. I had spent the past week and the whole of last night preparing for this day.

Most of those he employs are usually those who used to work as undercover agents for the government and wanted a different life. He eyed me with suspicion as he drank his whiskey. “Someone I know just got scammed, but I have a feeling it’s more than just a scam,” I continued. “Who got scammed?” Emmet asked, his curious eyes scanned me from head to toe. “My secretary’s grandmother,” I replied. “Natalie?” Garret asked frowning. “Who the fuck would do that to an old lady?” I can feel the rage building in him but never dare correct him. My eyes caught the clock on my bedroom wall and it was already eleven o'clock at night. I need to sleep for my work tomorrow. The job of the CEO's secretary is not easy. You read that right, I am Daddy's secretary at our company and business, the Figueroa Constructions Supply. We have all kinds of construction equipment. It's just that my parents couldn't have a son, so Daddy is teaching me right now.

When he saw the man get out of the car, he was instantly stunned into stammering, “That’s… I saw him on TV before. He’s the secretary to the richest guy in town, George Thomas!
