Bird Box Book Novels & Stories

He died alone. Stephen pulled out a wrapped box from his bag. "I saw this in a shop in the village " he said. "It reminded me of what you said about the light in the fall." Inside the box was a hand-carved wooden bird, a hawk with its wings spread. It wasn't made of gold or diamonds, wood smoothed by someones hands. I ran my fingers over the wings feeling a sense of peace. "It's free " I murmured.. Stephen smiled, his eyes shining with sincerity. "Like you " he said.

It was a tracker. I dug deeper into the bag and found a children's storybook, ‘The Hunting Game.’ I skimmed through the pages, there no words on them only colored pictures but what I thought was a story for children was actually a morbid depiction of the game. I had to find the bird before the wolves do or they would eat its heart. There were other characters in the book like the doctor, the police, and the civilians. In total there were twenty-four of them excluding the bird, the same number we were. There were no rules written in the book only the vague riddle at the end. ‘He who has the bird has the power.’ And the warning from the voice, ‘don’t tell anyone about your role.’ My head ached

he prompted excitedly. “Okay..,” I mused tentatively and pulled on the string. The box opened to reveal a three-dimensional book with the theme of "My home". The images were made to protrude from the pages. The coloring was very decent and everyone in the picture has their names tagged above their heads. Dwayne came over to look at the picture as well. I was standing with my hands draped around Maverick’s shoulders while my mother and Ashley were standing beside us and both Jared and Dwayne were standing on either side. The dogs were also included in the picture.

“Okay.” She adjusted the blanket around him, tucking it lightly under his shoulders. “There once was a little bird,” she began softly, “who lived in a very large cage. The cage was beautiful. It was made of gold, and everyone who saw it thought the bird was lucky.” His eyes were already softer now. “But the bird didn’t care about gold,” she continued. “It cared about the sky.” He blinked slowly. “The bird would sit by the bars every day and look out at the open sky, wondering what it would feel like to fly without limits.”

“Who’s this for?” “This…” Zayden was about to answer when he saw tears well up in Riley’s eyes. The words caught in his throat. “It’s… it’s from the restaurant. They gave it for free,” he lied. That barbecue place was an upscale restaurant. They never gave out free food like that. Riley never ate anything spicy. It was not hard to guess who the other box was really for. Silently, Riley clenched her fists. Riley snatched the barbecue box from Zayden’s hands before he could react and tossed it straight into the trash.

It was a huge red bird flying all around the forest. Boogsh! Boogsh! “What is happening?!” The students who were in the forest heard a loud screech. The students panicked when they saw a huge bird in the sky. Soheila smirked when she saw the huge bird in the sky. This bird is neither a Phoenix nor a Vermilion Bird. It's a Gigantic Firebird. In a book she had read, the Gigantic Firebird is third only to the Phoenix and Vermilion Bird. Its aura made the spirit beasts around the forest hide and when Soheila increased her five senses, she immediately felt the presence of a spirit beast. A Gigantic Firebird is also an ancient spirit beast that made them rare. Soheila could only see this in a book

But he had to be patient, at least, until Derek casts her aside. Emma could feel her heart pounding hard, but it was more out of excitement than fear. She should be afraid, the bird was a true raptor, but it was magnificent. It had black eyes! Round, shiny, very intelligent black eyes. She stared at it for fully two minutes. That wasn't normal, she was certain. Very slowly, so she wouldn't startle the creature, she backed across the room to the small bookshelf in the room. Still looking at the bird, she slid her fingers over the animal books she had gotten acquainted with yesterday until she found the one she wanted. It slipped off the shelf into her waiting hand, the pages already turning t
