CEREBUS

CEREBUS

The man sputtered and stepped aside. At the pet store, Cerebus pressed his noses to the glass, fogging it with six warm circles. Inside, squeaky toys dangled from hooks, bright and ridiculous. A Dalmatian pup barked frantically at the sight of him, then yelped and vanished behind a display. “Don’t worry,” Ellie whispered. “They’re just jealous you’d eat all their snacks in one bite.” Next stop: the food court. Grease and sugar thickened the air. Cerebus’s tails wagged furiously. Gamma nearly stole a chicken nugget from a passing tray. Ellie smacked his muzzle lightly.

Her Second Chance Alpha

Her Second Chance Alpha

I carefully mentioned the bribe. Bill, a sensitive pup, made me extra cautious in his presence. The twins were about one year and six months, but they were stronger and sharper than normal pups. They learned fast. Bill is a literal genius and already possesses a powerful aura at this tender age. “Yay! I’m going to get the Pink Princess doll. That’s super expensive!” Ruby ran in circles around me, jumping up as she ran.

Mr. Darren's Feisty Little Pet

Mr. Darren's Feisty Little Pet

Cassius reported, Cripton town was just beside Vrematon and the slitters were rampant in these two towns. "Let's stop by the labhouse when we return to the city," I said to Cassius. Slitters were coming out of hiding recently, they had plans and aims that the Council of Elders were yet to know about. We walked out of the market and approached the car, my gaze lowered a little to the car when I couldn't hear the human's heartbeat from there. Cassius ran to where the car was as he seemed to have noticed something also, he looked back at me "She isn't here"

Sister, Sister

Sister, Sister

Would Jacob be pleased to see me? I bought strawberry cream biscuits for Edwin and Erin from a small, wooden kiosk. The seller unwrapped change from a dirty handkerchief. The stout gateman eyed me suspiciously and replied with a stiff nod when I greeted him. Bobo was wagging enthusiastically and lunged on me. Staining my t-shirt with brown paw prints. His long, pink tongue lolled out from his mouth, his hot breath whipped my face as I stroked his head and behind his ears.

THE TWIN

THE TWIN

Undisputed writer
That was how they gained the interest of the wolves and soon, they learnt the animal language and their ways. A month passed, the twins were now eleven years old. They've learnt many things about the wolves, how they hunt, communicate with themselves and many other things but they still were not satisfied with that because Taiwo wanted to become the alpha and Keyinde the beta after which they plan to become the king and queen of the jungle. Both of them sat together on a tree branch not far from the wolves' den one evening, watching the alpha as controlled his subjects. Keyinde: I know what you're thinking the way you watch the alpha. You want to become the alpha.

A Dragons Heart

A Dragons Heart

When I looked at the reflection, I saw what looked like Dan hiding between the two buildings. When I turned around to look, I couldn't see him, just the crowds of people walking past, 'Was I seeing things just now? I swear I saw Dan in the window's reflection just now.' After another couple of minutes of looking at the pets through the window, we walked to the bakery. Surprisingly the bakery wasn't too far from the magic pet shop we were just looking at. When we arrived in front of the bakery, Tasha's nanny told us to stop walking since we didn't know we had arrived yet, "Girls, we're here. You can stop walking now. This is the bakery you want to visit, Dragons Hoard bakery."

His Little Hybrid Pet

His Little Hybrid Pet

Agnes Calamityluna alpha wolf
the Luna mother shouted over the ruckus, "Find out who and facilitate the cake and a game of pin the tail on the wolf! We'll be watching!" I had never realized how much using pack speech to talk into each others minds until I was faces with thirty wolf pups who would not shift into human for to speak to me and acted as though they couldn't listen either. Rayven seemed to have a way with them and was making an attempt to pass out slices of cake while Oakly was far for involved in tripping over her own dress and trying to pull pups away from grabbing on to her jewelry. I thought I had finally explained the game of pin the tail on the wolf until the second pup got blindfolded and decided to boo

Teacher's Pet

Teacher's Pet

I almost forgot that Nick had come back as I watched him desperately trying to evade the queen bees to get to me, lunch trays in hand. “Hey!” he said plopping down beside me, his back to the window. “Here’s your favorite, cheese and black pepper sandwiches and apple juice. Your big secret’s still safe so it’s my treat.” he said, handing my tray over and then unwrapping the double-decker chicken cheese burger on his tray. He took a huge bite out of it and slurped down nearly half of his coke. “Eww! Pig!” I said in disgust as he licked his lips clean of any extra mayo.

Very much enjoyed this story! Great dialogue, characters & storyline. Did not drag out with ridiculous plot twist or misogynistic action against the female lead. Plot was whimsical, but nicely done. No excessive, but stupid chapters. Kudos to a job well done! Thanks!

I couldn’t put this book down and read it in a day. It was compelling, the characters were well written, and I loved the FL (by the end). Absolutely deserving of 5 stars!! I’m going to read more by this author, for sure!!

An Unroyal Alliance

An Unroyal Alliance

Ayesha greeted. “Sorry, but do you have a small knick knack we can buy? Something the sisze of my finger.” She held up her index with a shy smile. “Of course. Come with me.” She secured the register and took them to a display on the bottom shelf to the right of the shop’s door. There were various porcelain animals, from elephants to cats, dogs to sheep and even other objects like hot air balloons and a miniature of one of Watford's parks. “You can look through these.”

(Not) My Husband: Still The Father Of Our Children

(Not) My Husband: Still The Father Of Our Children

A large crate was rolled forward, and inside it, wide-eyed and bewildered, sat a German shepherd puppy with a red bow tangled around one ear. The twins rushed forward. “We won! We won!” Caleb pressed his face to the crate. “His name is Mr. Biscuits!” Sebastian stared. “Why Mr. Biscuits?” “Because he looks like a biscuit,” Caleb said proudly. There was no logic. Just joy. Sebastian looked around at the crowd, the clapping parents, the beaming teacher. But when he turned back to the twins, radiant with pride, he only crouched beside them.
