I let out a heavy sigh as I left my room together with the maid who keeps on cursing me for being dirty and ugly. Damn. They treated me like a dog in this family. END OF CHAPTER 2

Then, I heard a thud. His body hit the ground. I turned and ran to him, tears streaming down my face. He had been bitten by wild ones, and I was certain we didn’t have a cure anywhere nearby. Panic took over as I fought off the others, my heart pounding wildly. “Looks like you’re alone now,” Alpha I-Oh appeared, smirking as he examined my body. “You know what? I can see why my son lost his mind over you. You are truly exceptional, young lady.” He licked his bottom lip, circling me like a predator while Wolvin groaned in pain, clutching his wounds.

If there was anything that I was trying to avoid, it was being bitten by an animal after being scarred by the bite of my father's dog when I was little. I was starting to regret my actions because if I had known better I wouldn't have come downstairs. He told me that it wasn't going to hurt me, right? Another idea struck my head. If they were tamed, that meant that their teeth must have been removed, right? And that I would be able to outsmart them. But, could I really do that? One of the men grunt. I do not heed their instruction but rather turn wildly to sink my teeth into the closest flesh. There's a loud howl, and I'm suddenly dropped to the ground. “Why the hell did you drop her?” “The son of a dog bit me!” The second man screams. With satisfaction, I spit out the tangy taste of blood that has clung to my teeth and meet the eyes of my now furious abductors. “It will appear, Little Wench, that we underestimated you.” The unbitten one says, hands balled in a fist as he advances again towards me.

With that, she drove away and I watched until the car was out of sight. I turned to the mansion and decided to head in. I followed the tunnel and got out. Just when I was out, I caught the sight of two huge bull dogs, they weren't chained, probably kept here because of me, did anyone notice the tunnel. The dogs caught sight of me and without wasting anytime, charged towards me, barking loudly. Adrenaline surged through me as I turned to run, but my foot caught a branch causing me to fall heavily on the stoney ground, bruising my elbow. Was this the end of me? I looked back at the animals that were already close to me. I shut my eyes, ready for whatever wanted to happen, to happen.

He lifted me and took me towards the chamber, with my mouth still covered. I had many things running inside my head about the absurd possibilities that he wanted to do to me. He said he marked his mate to provoke me but I didn't react, is he going to do it now? Ugh...Moon goddess...! What the heck is going on in my life!! I struggled a lot to free myself, I even bit his hand that had covered my mouth. He hissed in pain and lowered his head to bite me back. "Are you a dog?" Whispering something into my ears, he bit my earlobe with his lips. A shiver runs down my spine. Despite my efforts, his grip didn't loosen a bit.

It was like a snake and it wrapped around my arm all the way up. “The barbs didn’t sting; they comforted me and made my body warm. I stroked the dog’s slimy head and it retracted its tongue. No one would bat an eye; let alone come to my rescue. Despite the negative thoughts, I didn’t give up. I flailed in Alpha Charles’ arms, and I attempted to bite the inside of his palm. My heart swelled when I bit him successfully and he yowled in pain. My celebration was short-lived when he slapped me in the face in retaliation.
