Bitten By The Dog I Abandoned Chapter 1 Novels & Stories

Distracted by the agony, the wolf tore at my flesh. Instinctively, my other paw kicked out, striking the wolf's left eye. He let go. But before I could scramble away, his jaws clamped down on my side. Desperation forced me to shift back into my human form, screaming at the top of my lungs. I grabbed its ears and pulled with all my might. The bite, thankfully, wasn't too deep, and the wolf tore away a chunk of flesh before releasing me. Blood poured from my wounds, but I didn't plan to lose. The thought of my kids kept me strong and awake.

Once again, I found myself pushed from my grasp on him, but this time I managed to stop myself before I hit the wall of the cave again. Relentless the hellhound this time didn’t wait for me to rebound, as he pounced onto me. Unfortunately, I hadn’t seen this move coming and his teeth sunk deep into the flesh of my back. A yelp came from within me, as I couldn’t hold back the burning sensation that took over my whole entire being from the bite, but the bite didn’t last for long, as the hellhound himself let of a yelp of his own, as he stumbled back from me, with my blood dripping from his mouth.

’ I can feel his futile attempt to resist and as I looked at this trespasser in the corner of my eye, I frowned. ‘Why are this bastard’s eyes like this, like he was abandoned by the world?’ -End of Chapter 6 -

Now looking at it closely , l could tell that it's fur wasn't black but midnight blue . I felt it brushing against my legs and l took a tentative step back but I instantly stopped when it opened up it's mouth . " Uh ! Am not going to run okay ? ",I said softly and it's tongue rolled out and went back after licking it's protruding canines from its snout . Seeing it act like that , I lost all my self preservation then relaxed my hands on it . However just as l was running soothing circles on it , it all of the sudden lifted one of its menacing paws and pushed me down . I was shocked but realization hit me when the bullet whizzed past me .

He yanked at my clothes viciously, and the cold, clammy air bit at my exposed skin. "Hebert! Help me!" I cried out, tears streaming uncontrollably. Desperation surged through me as I fought to protect the child in my womb. I snapped my mouth open and sank my teeth into his pressing wrist, pouring every ounce of strength into the bite until the metallic tang of blood filled my mouth. "You bitch!" He howled in pain, his hand retaliating with a hard slap across my face.

It was a young wolf, he hurried to me immediately, apologizing. My gaze was the door. Faintly, I spotted a snake shaped carving. ‘I’ve seen that before.’ “Mam, are you okay? Mam are you alright? Can you hear…” his voice faded into the background. My hearing was gone and my eyes were shutting off. I flipped through the pages in my head. I found nothing until It bit me. ‘The abandoned palace’, I'm in the palace. ‘Zephyr I'm in the old palace. If you can hear me, please hurry.’

Valeria “We can’t wait for a doctor here. Take her to the hospital now!” a guard yelled. I was lying on the ground, my body shaking from pain. My arm burned where the dog’s teeth had bitten me, and my side stung from the deep scratches. Blood soaked my dress, making it stick to my skin and my head felt heavy, while my vision was blurry. I wanted to cry, but I was too weak to. This was exactly what I wanted. I had planned to escape and to make it to the meeting at nine o’clock, but now I was hurt, and the dogs had given me the perfect chance. And all that was left was for the guards to come up with a solution. My chest ached with both fear and frustration.

I cried but as if my pleadings went into deaf ears. The power rush of water intesified, and a sob wreck through my chest, as the dogs barked on my face. "Please, please, please" I begged and a scream left my mouth as I saw one of the pitbulls lunging over me. Jacob yelled before shaking his head. He first looked at Molly’s palm, which was not bleeding much, then at the pup in the corner. The little one had shrunk away into a corner after being thrown aside. It was trembling and whimpering while looking at all the strangers. “Where did this brat come from?” Jacob frowned. “That brat bit Molly!” Elizabeth suddenly strode over and kicked the pup. It flew into the wall with a yelp. “What are you doing?!” I pushed her away and shielded the pup behind me before she could hurt it again.
