He couldn't join her today because he couldn't risk leaving the unknown guest alone. Just as he was about turning to go back inside, he saw Lily. She had something in her mouth. A small backpack. She dropped it at his feet before walking inside. He picked it up and walked inside. After giving Lily a snack for her services, he opened the bag carefully. An empty water bottle, some empty wraps for granola bars and two unopened bars were the contents of the bag. He turned the bag over, shaking the bag vigorously. Nothing else was in the bag but amongst the wraps of granola bars, he noticed a small name tag depicting one name ... Kamara.

Maybe it was due to the spark I felt in the mate bond. “Lady Green! Lady Green please wait!” Celine called but I reached for the door regardless and as I opened it, there he was. His blonde hair had grown longer and messy than I remembered. His hazel eyes were tired, they showed how much stress and tears he had gone through. I could feel it in our bond, how much he blamed himself, his pain, his regret, I felt them all that tears graced my eyes once again. He couldn’t even move an inch and a part of me wanted it that way.

And anyway my phone is mute. So I go back to Meredith and lay beside her. But I can not shut one eye because I'm still thinking about him. Hudson was in the beginning like a... how can I say this? Dumbass. I don't know Hudson so I can't judge him. But what I know is that he's kinda hot. I was always curious about the look of Meredith's brother but I never thought he could be that good-looking. He has green eyes and light brown hair and his body looked very trained. But his British accent was so cute. Omg. Ashley, stop adoring the brother of your best friend. I better go to sleep now.
