She softly flung open the window and took a peek outside. She could see two men conversing and exchanging objects, but she was unable to make out what they were exchanging. It was dark outside, and her eyes were already tired and yawning for some sleep. One of the men appeared to have the same body type as the butler, and she was able to identify him by his shape, but she was unable to identify the other man. The other man was dressed in all black, and he had a hat on that covered his face. They shook hands, and the man left the mansion as the butler returned to the house.

We will really be sold by the old hag. "Well, I can see that they are indeed fine and very beautiful. Fair enough. Tell my assistant how much you want and he will give it you." Claret laughed evilly. "Oh, thank you, Mr. Balthazar! Looking forward to have more transactions with you!"

*Modern World* Enola POV i quickly got off the bed screaming to which the idiot next to didn't even a bit surprised "Who the hell are you? and where the hell am i?" I said or more like yelled looking around to the most unfamiliar and weird yet breathtaking room my eyes have ever witnessed "Well in case you hit your head somewhere and forgot this is Black mansion and i am the owner of it Jonathan Black also your future husband." He said getting off the bed "Bullshit! i don't even know you" i argued.

It looked like a fortress. Inside, the air smelled of leather and smoke. The butler, dressed in black, led us down a hallway with paintings that looked older than the country. My heels clicked against the marble floor, each step echoing in my chest. And then I saw him. Santino Blackwood. He stood near the fireplace, the flames lighting his face. He was taller than I imagined, his shoulders broad under a perfectly tailored black suit. His hair was dark, his jaw sharp, his cheekbones cutting. But it was his eyes that froze me. Cold. Stormy. Like they could see through my skin and into my bones.

It was impossible but he couldn't stop the tremor of hope that ran through him. "Gimme." He tried not to make the excitement he felt overtake him. He had an image to keep after all. The butler was a tall slim blonde, clean shaven but the greys in his hair showed he was older than he looked. He was groomed neatly too, the well cut black suit he wore hugging his figure nicely. His pristine black shoes seemed to glow in the dark, and his facial expression gave away nothing. He walked gracefully towards Chelsea, a sense of elegance around him. Chelsea wanted to punch his face. He's never punched anybody in his entire life but he was willing to try.

It should be illegal to look this nerve wrecking. The first three buttons of his shirt were undone, revealing a patch of clear slightly tanned skin. The sleeves of his shirt were rolled up to his elbows, showing off the prominent veins that ran up his back hand. I felt the breath hitch in my wind pipes as our eyes met, his mesmerizing green stare made my cheeks flush and my knees go weak, it was like I was paralyzed as I stood there while his eyes still roamed me. "I don't think I've introduced myself. Damon Blackwood" his husky voice made my heart rate pick up. A smirk crawled unto his features as he stretched out a hand for me and I just stared in awe, his words sinking in.

“We’re just… mingling with billionaires.” Elaina managed a smile, though her nerves crackled beneath her skin. They barely made it past the main hall when a sudden hush fell over the crowd. A man entered. Tall. Broad. Dressed in a perfectly cut black suit that shimmered subtly like dark smoke. Lucien Blackthorn. He was carved from ice—his features cruelly handsome, his eyes obsidian. When those eyes scanned the room and landed on her, something in Elaina’s chest stuttered. Her breath hitched.

What they face was not the weak and helpless ant-like cultivator as they had expected but the wrath of the grim reaper in a black butler tuxedo wielding a rapier. “Sir, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong and at the wrong time. Might I suggest you evacuate out of here at once? Otherwise, I’ll need to forcefully remove you from this world.” The butler in the black tuxedo said toward the invaders in a British accent. The invaders look at each other before some of them rush at the Butler and get turned into thousands of slices of meat cubes as they fall to the ground that was littered with their blood, innards, and organs.

Dad grabbed the nurse, throwing her out of the room alongside himself. "Well-done, Emily, you have accomplished your mission." A sinister scent emerged, a wicked laugh echoing across the room. The once blue sky was now a mixture of black and white with the moon reflecting its radiant image. Wails filled the air as a ray of light fell from the sky, hitting a mountain on the other side of town. I groaned, wincing as my hand was scorched by the flaming book. The pages settled, words in red appearing on the pages. "Strigoi, Nosferatu, Jiangshi…"

Butler Grey’s face paled. “Badly, Alpha.” That single word was enough to make Zaden go still, the air around him seemed to go frigid. In one fluid motion, he rose from his chair, the leather seat creaking softly behind him. His expression remained unreadable, but the air around him tightened, going taut with each passing second. Butler Grey was the first to descend the staircase, his steps light and his hands clasped neatly behind his back. His tailored charcoal suit hung sharply over his broad frame, and the silver ring on his index finger gleamed in the candlelight.
