Then, I let out the fire. Small, orange sparks danced in my hair like tiny stars. I started to move.

Krister asked, looking at his tablet still before walking to the back room. “Black? She doesn’t-- I mean didn’t wear anything else?” she asked, her eyebrows meeting in the middle confused. “Don’t tell me she’s one of those people…” “Yes, specifically black clothing. They’re hot in the day but you disappear in the night. That’s what she always said to me.” Krister disappeared in the back to get something whilst Rojean was left there to contemplate on her own how she was going to pull the act off if she was a bad liar herself.

His black hair changed into white, eyes turned into violet, while his skin turned lighter and more flour-like than his usual caramel tone. Alesteria's jaw drop as she stare at Ich's illusionary magic, seeing how perfect and flawless it was whilst Klaus was not impressed by it at all. "See? This method is much more effective." We parted when we heard clapping. Then I reached back and touched the arch, sending my magic into the wood and the flowers. The pixilettes fluttered away as teal and bronze flames sprang to life around us. They didn't burn anything, but they sparkled and glittered against the setting sun. The clapping grew louder and everyone got to their feet. My mom lifted Clare so she could see. The little girl reached out a hand and sent her own magic into the arch so it mingled with mine. All seven magics grew, their colors blending and lifting until they nearly touched the sky.
