Bound to the Dark King
"Excellent. Now, let's proceed with our journey. Kael?"
The young beautiful boy I remembered from yesterday approached, holding an object draped in maroon fabric. "Your Majesty."
"My swords," the king demanded.
Kael handed over the bundle, and the king carefully unwrapped it, revealing two impeccably polished swords. The blades caught the morning light, shimmering brilliantly. A lump formed in my throat as I pondered whether the Dark King possessed the ability to read thoughts. But he was truly an unpredictable man and killing him wasn't going to be easy.
