"Why the hell are you all glaring at me? I can't afford another mad hound going feral in my territory." A short chuckle slips from Darren, and like dominoes, the tension cracks. The others laugh - lightly , nervously. Even Alessia smiles. But I don't. Not yet. It's obviously the first time Derek reacts visibly rattle. Alessia steps closer, her voice quieter. "What is a Kitsune? Really?" I turn to her slowly. My gaze drifts back to Raven, her breathing shallow, the book still on her chest. "The Nine-Tail Fox," I say.

At least that is what I thought. As soon as I think of these creatures a kitsune appears before us. A few of us growl at the intruder. I’ve never seen one before and I stare at it’s beauty. The kitsune is all white besides the markings on it. It’s feet have socks that are a reddish brown color and the tips of it’s nine tails are the same color. In the center of it’s forehead is a a crescent shape and it’s eyes glow yellow. One of the bears goes to attack as the kitsune walks towards me completely unafraid. “Don’t attack it,” I order.

Pawn Clara asked. " 'Gobi' means 'five-tailed Kitsune' and 'Zalika' means 'wellborn'," Bishop Eloise explained with an understanding smile. "She is fully matured and has mastered her element and can create an illusion now. She has a royal Kitsune heritage like the Moroi of Vampires or the Alpha of Werewolves." "And what about Reiko? What does it mean?" Pawn Clara asked, reminding her. "'Riko' means a ghost fox, not a real ghost as seen in shadow or dust form, but definitely a 'wicked' fox," Bishop Eloise replied.

“His name is Arthur?“ “Yes. Arthur Lionel Taylor“ A smile creeps up Aedan's face as he admits softly, “He has Aklan's eyes“ It was the first time I'd seen Aedan smile. “I don't mean to be rude but can I ask you a question?“ I asked. “Sure, go ahead“ “Your eyes have been golden for a while now and I often time realizes that Arthur's eyes do turn golden as well. What does this mean?“ “The golden eyes of a Kitsune symbolizes a lot of things“ He explained. “Power, wisdom, divine nature but It also amplifies seduction powers in relation to mating“ “By seduction powers, you mean..“ “Yes. Just like an omega has their heat cycle, kitsune's have spiritual cycles where they transform into their beast

" I swallowed hard. The air inside the chopper felt thick now. Almost too tight. “I do,” I whispered. “Kind of.” Both of them looked at me. "Someone else saw it too," I whispered. "One of Giordano’s men. He said it looked... Japanese. Something about foxes. Kitsune." Valentino looked shaken. Not scared. But unsettled. Like someone had touched a part of his brain that hadn’t lit up in years. Yeah. Kitsune. That’s it." Valentino nodded slowly. Like a man hearing a ghost sing.

They can create full scapes and spaces to lock people in, but the thrill for most dream walkers is getting away with it…………. I can’t know for sure if Ren is an incubus, but can say with relative certainty those gifts are aligned. In mythology, Kitsune were tricksters. Changelings, who tormented if not stole people’s sanity bit by bit in numerous ways for even more reasons. Incubi were all about sex. The feed. The spiritual sustenance that was easiest to get in the dream world.

As I carried her to the back door, and Damian opened it, allowing me to lay Kit’s now fragile body on the back seat, as tears began to fall from Damian’s eyes, as he held his mother’s head in his lap, and asked her, “Are you going to be okay, mommy?” Kit’s eyes now were struggling to stay open, as I knew that I was running on borrowed time to get her back. It was a blessing from the Moon Goddess herself, that Kit was placed in the same place that I was, at the same time. “We need to get her back home so the pack doctor can help her.” I said to Damian, trying to reinsure him that Kit was going to be okay, as I shut the back door, and reached in my trunk for a pair of shorts pulling them on be

No sooner does the shadowy apparition pass, than the plumed bird ignites the desiccated vamp carcasses with lightning strikes, powderizing them into fading sparks and ensuring there’s no regeneration or rising again. Evidently, that’s still not enough to sate the alpha’s bloodlust though. Amid the battling weres on the ground, a genuine seven-tailed kitsune accomplishes the same thing as the lightning bird overhead. Imbued with fire, it zips and darts agilely in the wake of the were ranks, dancing flames leaping from its nimble feet, multiple tails and flickering along its coat, finishing off any wounded vamps and cremating any remains with explosive bursts of licking flames.

she gasps, her tone becomes stern, "You are not a curse." "It is what the pups say," My gaze flashes up to her, blurred with tears, and my hands refuse to fold anymore, "The rogue and the Keffer they call us. Vale is a rogue, her scent says so. And her wolf is small. A keffer is cursed. They have no wolf a-and they say I have no wolf. They say my scent says so too." They don't know what they're talking about too. I wish to add. I know I have a wolf.

I knew that Asher said that we shouldn’t make eye contact, but this was the first time I had seen tengus and kitsunes, and my curiosity was getting the better of me. "Ma am." A kitsune with large white ears and six tails called out, catching my eye. "Come look at what I have here." "Don’t," Asher warned as Ashton eyed the kitsune. "They’re either organ traders or dark arts dealers." Opening my mouth, I prepared to deny the kitsune's request, but he reached out and grabbed me, pulling me towards him. "Oh, come on now, beautiful." He purred, flashing me his sharp canines. "I only want to show you something."
