Black Kitsune Meaning Novels & Stories

And for those who don't know what a werefox and kitsune look like, you can look it up but here is a short note about all you need to know about a kitsune aka Sebastian Whitlock…. So basically kitsune are foxes that possess paranormal abilities that increase as they get older and wiser. According to folklore, the kitsune-foxes (or perhaps the "fox spirits") can bewitch people. They have the ability to shapeshift into human or other forms, and to trick or fool human beings. While some folktales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others—as foxes in folklore often do—other stories portray them as faithful guardians, friends, and lovers. <\> source: Wikipedia They usually have nine

I say in a rush. I don’t know all of her special abilities or what they might entail, but I don’t want her using any without knowing more. I just know there are a lot of ancient myths and some superstitions around what Aubrey is. I can find a lot of crappy stuff online. Some are simply saying Kitsune are mythical foxes, some say they are fox shifters or shape shifting foxes. Others…well… ‘foxes with paranormal abilities from japanese folklore’ sums it up.

he crossed one leg resting a hand on his knee, “what about your kind is different that I should know?” Honestly, I wasn’t so sure what I could tell him. Latharn warned me kitsune were very private. There was some council that monitored us all for breaches. The last thing I wanted was to wind up on some list. “Well the one thing we all do you seem to be immune to.” That was annoying, mostly because I was told only other kitsune were immune, “we create illusions. You’ve always seen through mine. I can turn invisible.” “Can others turn invisible?”

He hadn't demanded that the two mikos lead him to the Lord of the South, but he knew now that it would be better for him to let things be. On the ground, stretching out in front of Augustin's feet were the shadows of nine tails swaying behind each of the mikos. The silhouettes of the animal ears above the heads of the two women left no doubt about their identity. He had just received confirmation that these two priestesses were much more than they appeared. So it wasn't a welcoming committee that the Lord of the South had sent him, but a warning. "I thought the Kyubi no kitsune (nine-tailed foxes) only served the god Inari," Augustin declared in a falsely peaceful voice.

Keith growled. "How did the Luna do that," One of the Pack Warriors asked. "Is she a Witch?" Another one asked "No, Luna Ebony is not a Witch. I will not repeat myself again. I want all of you to leave now," Keith said in his Alpha tone, causing everyone to fall to their knees. "Yes, Alpha," they all said "Now go and never speak of what happened today to anyone else. Do you all understand?" Keith said in his Alpha tone so that everyone would have to obey.

Eun-Jae began. A second tail appeared then a third. The light began to diminish as a beautiful woman stood in front of them. The three tails then disappeared into her body and she opened her eyes. "Shit just hit the ceiling." Apikai whispered. "A kitsune." the beta finally completed his sentence. "A three tailed kitsune. Still young yet can steal bodies, that's great potential." Briseis commented. "Thank you." Mizuki smiled and Bresies nodded in acknowledgement.

"The wards… they flicker. Weakening. He tears the fabric of the city's security." The sentient Shadow rippled, its voice a chilling whisper that seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere at once. "The darkness… it stretches. It hungers. It is drawn to him as a moth to a flame." A sly Kitsune, Ren of the Ten Tails, his golden eyes gleaming with intelligence and a hint of amusement, spoke with a hint of sarcastic glee. "Well, isn’t this just peachy? I was just getting comfortable with my new sake collection." Several older members shot him withering glances. Sake collections were hardly the priority when the world was about to end.

It makes me wonder what abilities they have. David continued reading. "Kitsunes are the embodiment of fox spirits bound to a human body and particularly known for their trickery. The human and its spirit are one because they share a heart therefore, it is the heart that must be eaten. Their abilities include partial shapeshifting, superhuman strength, foxfire, and an affinity for blades." "Foxfire?" David asked, puzzled. "Pyrokinesis?" "That is what it says but the book is quite old so there might be some inaccuracies."

To hunt. Kitsunes were supposed to be extinct. His grandfather had told him stories about the hunts, about how dangerous and cunning the fox spirits were. How they deceived and destroyed entire packs. This one wasn't getting away. Noah shifted mid stride, his body transforming seamlessly into his wolf form. His clothes tore away as he sprinted across the field and into the woods. The scent trail was fresh, sharp, and intoxicatingly strong. The kitsune was fast. Faster than any werewolf Noah had ever chased. It weaved through the trees with impossible grace, its nine tails streaming behind it like ribbons of white flame.

“I do, Mitsuhide. If you would like it, of course. It matters little to me, but your face shows how interested you are with it. It is the least I could do. You have offered to shelter me for nothing in return. A gift like this is appropriate.“, she replied. “A gift like this is unheard of. You are giving fire to a warlord, Princess. That in itself is a dangerous thing in these times.“, he stated. “A kitsonebi.” “A what?“, she asked. “Kitsonebi a flame created by a kitsune.“, he replied. “Maybe the ball works backward then?“, she said with a chuckle. “Huh?“, he asked. “The kitsune ball you gave me last night. You said it was so the kitsune would have to help the one who held it. Maybe that is
