After the period of darkness, we emerged at a tunnel-like exit; the exit was surrounded by few rocks & light broken-off concrete, three blue roses and one black rose. "Hey, I thought you said these were extremely rare," I said while pointing at the blue roses. "They are. Why is that the first thing you ask about?" Valkon responded. "What do you mean? It’s a valid question. I’ve also never seen a black rose before," I argued. “It sprouted from all of the dark magic surrounding this place. Black roses are a symbol of dark magic or ritualistic practices; it’s not surprising to see it growing here,” he explained.

I wanted to ask him if he had a list of items they would consider disrespectful, but I was too nervous. The skull monkeys' presence didn't seem to bother Laeddin at all. As we walked along some unseen path, he pointed out the different birds, insects, trees, and flowers indigenous to this part of the world. The most interesting was a black flower that was bigger than my hand. Seven large leaves made up the base and there were several smaller flowers inside, like a large black cotton ball. Its center was red as were the veins within the petals, making the flower appear to be dripping blood. "What is that one called?"

I pulled harder, but it refused to move. Instead, Sabrina’s body jerked weakly beneath me. I released her instantly. “Fuck,” I muttered, dragging a hand through my hair. Then suddenly, the room grew still. The priestess’s eyes snapped open, glowing completely white as she stared ahead at nothing. “Does the purple rose still grow in Blackthorn pack?” she asked. Hope rose inside me so quickly it hurt. “Yes,” I answered immediately. “It blooms once every ten years.” “Bring it to me.”

With a determined expression, she points to her selection, signaling her choice. Finrir, after a moment of consideration, nods toward an oxyplant featuring oval leaves. Its unique characteristics catch his attention, and he feels a connection to it. Tritan's attention turns to a particular oxyplant, recognizing it as his sister's favorite. With one of its many ancestors being an orchid, this oxyplant boasts vibrant purple blooms speckled with bioluminescent patterns.

Not knowing what they had planned, I responded with a big grin, "They could be a really big part of the tour, later tonight." We started through the conservatory, and I was rambling on about the dendrobium orchids in bloom. I pointed out the new banana accessions, explaining characteristics of the two different cultivars. When we came to the central bed, within the dome, Pete grinned, "That's what I came to see the Sausage Tree...they're huge...and they look like sausages in casings...and you hand pollinated them?"

Theodore asked waving a hand infront of him. "Y..yes. What did you say? Whom did you see?" He asked, voice growing desperate now. "A girl. She was a girl, Callix. And she looked exactly like Celestaa. Same face, same nose, same eyes, except her midnight black hair. I could not take my eyes off her. It looked surreal. It was like I went back in time..." He continued his rambling. But what caught his attention was that he said she looked exactly like his wife. Her eyes too? No, it could not be. Because she had a unique pair of eyes unlike both of her parents. It xould not be her then. But what if...

Isn’t it just a bunch of flowers?” Ryan carefully rounded a bend before replying her.. “The Orchids were Brookes favorite flowers but he named a serum he created after it” “A serum? What does the serum do?”. “Actually, nobody knows for sure. Some say it increases the Leviathan’s power and abilities. Others say it’s the only thing that can stop them---”

I whispered, feeling dubious of his suggestion. "There's an herb native to this area only, Juliana. It's strong enough to put them all into comas if they ingest it." Chasel crouched to the floor and began to draw in the dirt with his finger. I joined him, squatting down. "It's shaped like this, and it has a tinge of emerald or chartreuse green on the very edges. Like Sambucus, the majority is so dark green that it almost appears black. The plant is also known as 'Black Beauty'."

"This is a Pitcher Plant. Unlike the Venus Flytrap that snaps shut, it lures insects inside with nectar. Once they fall in, they can't climb back out." I leaned over immediately. "So... it's basically a scam artist." Andrew pursed his lips to hold back his laughter. Barry blinked sharply, then cleared his throat. “I suppose that's one way of putting it," he muttered, walking forward. "These are orchids. There are over twenty-five thousand known species." “Twenty-five thousand?" “Err… Approximately." "So you're telling me flowers have DLC?" Barry stared at me flatly. Andrew chuckled quietly. “Let's head to the next enclave, please.” Barry said, already walking away.
