The unnaturally strong, spotted predator yanked the Supreme towards him and sank his teeth into the neck, tearing the pale skin. The other two enemies, barely recovering from their surprise, rushed towards the beast, but the jaguar tensed its legs and crossed the room with a long, powerful leap, breaking a large window and disappearing into the darkness of the night.

I let out a small whimper, which made him loosen his arms around me and I pulled slightly away to look at him. His normally cheerful hazel eyes had changed their color to a darker shade. I gulped. “I said t-try knowing each other first!” I cried out in alarm. My hands flew to his chest to push him away but it was futile. Damn pureblooded vampires!
