I wanted to look like the woman who owned the man who owned the city. When I stepped into the living area, Xavier was standing by the floor to ceiling windows, his back to me. He was already fully suited in charcoal grey, his shoulders broad enough to block out the light. He was on the phone, his voice a low, lethal vibration that made the air feel heavy.

he was looking so calm. "Orchids " Ava whipers slowly.. "Hey everyone..u all come so early...I thought u will come after party " ryan said with a smile..Xavier looked at Sana with a horror expressions... "This is not looking good xav..he is too calm to be " Sana moved and hide behind Xavier... "Come on..am not that much scary....by the way I have something for u " he took out a box from his pocket and sat on his knees in front of Ava...her heart stopped for a moment...she doesn't understand how to react...

Angela I’m trying not to let Natasha’s words get to me but then, we are only humans. No matter how hard we try, our minds will always take us back to previous events of the past, and mine is leading me to my conversation with Natasha. Blinking rapidly, I tried to focus on the paperwork before me but then that too was futile. The door opened, the sound distracting me for a bit. Xavier strolled in like he owns the building. His love for black color makes me want to jump on him and kiss him senselessly. His black suit, black shirt, and black jacket make him look cool with his jet-black hair.

“So you’re here for five minutes and she already has to leave? She isn’t even your wife yet.” I shot her a look. She only shrugged. Xavier didn’t react right away. When he did, his voice was calm—almost too calm. “I’m sorry about that,” he said, looking at Ava. Then his eyes came back to me. “But your friend here is hiding something from her future husband, and I need to hear it from her.” My stomach dropped. For a second, I forgot how to breathe. Ava leaned slightly toward me. “What are you hiding from him?”

And Xavier’s expression? Darkened into something I’d never seen before. Shit.

It was an open barbeque restaurant with small huts where groups of people can stay as they take food from a long buffet table. Xander lead the group to the biggest hut in the area and told them to get anything they want. “I’m riding the limo when we get back.” said Lilith, drawing daggers at Matt. The other didn’t seem to notice her though, as Xander, Dorin and even Johan surround him with Boulvar and Venet to look through his weapon collection. “Your collection is truly astounding!” Xander exclaimed as Matt took out one weapon after another and laid them on an empty table.

Completing my look with a crimson lipstick and wore the only pair of black heels I brought with me. While running my fingers through my curls, I heard a soft knock on the door. I treaded towards it and finally opened it , revealing a very annoyed Xavier, dressed in black satin button-up shirt with matching jeans. His creased forehead relaxed when his eyes zoomed on me and slowly, his eyes trailed downwards, assessing me from head to toe. Despite my every attempt at finding out about his feelings, he ignored my attempts and brought his eyes back to my face, the crease once again appearing on his forehead.
