"I need to wash the thought of that girl out of my head." The door opened again, and Robin walked in. He was a presence that demanded silence. Tall, dark, and broad-shouldered, he filled the space effortlessly. He wore a brown shirt that looked ready to burst against his chest. As a wolf-human hybrid, he was more formidable than most. He had a way of using his primal side that made even us stay on our toes. Robin’s dark eyes fell on the body on the floor. He didn't look angry, just inconvenienced. He looked at Rory. "You hit your limit for the month. No more casualties until the books reset next week."

One that just needed a little push to put him in higher spirits. After we'd demolished the entire thing, Noir had talked softly about his time in Milan, about what he actually did for the Black Rose. He was their information specialist, the one who could hack into anything, find anyone, make people disappear from databases like they'd never existed and he was also the guy to torture information out of people and tie up loose ends whenever Lorenzo wanted the ends messy. I knew that much from what I'd witnessed. He spoke about it freely with me, and I listened without judgement. I seemed to have begun developing an immunity for illegal shit.

But if you look closely, you will see the difference between the two. "I'm going to distract the gray wolf." The Wolf with red fur commands the black Wolf next to him. The Black Wolf received the order and left in Windy's direction. The Red Wolf is alert when sensitively detecting someone approaching. When it turned around, it saw a Wolf with black fur and sharp eyes. The Red Wolf was no longer conservative but somewhat reverent towards the Black Wolf. I thought the Red Wolf was the leader of the assassin group, but it wasn't. Their leader is a black wolf with blue eyes, and he wants to stand on the high cliff and declare war on his opponent.

I begin to reach for the shadows. A sharp sting in my ribs brings my attention to the assailant, a young drake holding a rod tipped with crystals that radiate with blue lightning that cracks and sizzles. My glimmer robes are singed, leaving a hole the size of my taloned fists burned along my ribs, that now burn with pain.

While Bo has a shining white head free of even a single strand of hair and a short thin (mostly gray) facial hair and smells like golden spice. Gray is standing on the left side of a semicircle made up of him, Cordelia and Bo, with cordelia being in the middle, a few yards just ahead of us. Gray’s holding a long thick metal link chain in his hands, conversing with the two. Iselyn and I stop a few feet away, just close enough to alert them to our presence and hear the conversation.

Get lost! Robin was ashamed and angry. She struggled hard and shouted, "Get away from me! Don't touch me!" After all, she was the leader of the Foggy Sect. She was not an ordinary woman. Even though she was weak, she was still filled with rage. She did not know if she had the strength to break free from Lukas' grasp. Damn it! Lukas lost his patience. His face darkened, and then he slapped Robin hard. With a crisp sound, Robin's delicate body fell to the ground.

Headlights flared, slicing through the darkness like twin blades. The Ironclaws froze. Eyrix lifted his head weakly. A black motorcycle rolled into view between the trees, its engine a low, predatory purr. The rider was massive, his silhouette broad and dangerous as he killed the engine and swung a leg over the bike. Ryder Blackfang, The Alpha of Blackfang pack. He stepped forward, boots crunching on leaves. He didn’t look at the Ironclaws at first. He looked at Eyrix. Slowly, Ryder crouched in front of him. The man’s eyes were an unnerving, icy gray, reflecting the moonlight. His scent hit Eyrix like a wall—steel, and something darkly intoxicating beneath it.

It was a fighter, a warrior. The leader of the rogues snarled, his eyes flashing. "Who are you?" he shouted, his voice trembling with fear. "I am Darius Blackmaw. I am the Alpha of the Blackrock Pack." The black wolf did not react. He only shifted, a quiet, silent specter who attacked without warning. He was a force of nature, a whirlwind of teeth and claws. He tore through the rogues with brutal efficiency that made my blood curdle. They were no match for him. They were sacrificial lambs to the killing.

I was drawn to him with an inexplicable force that made my heart stumble. He stepped closer, lowering himself to my height. A fleeting smile ghosted across his lips. “So you’re the girl hiding in the woods,” he said, his voice low and rasped. “I’ve heard the rumors, the black wolf that haunts the full moon.” I said nothing. My voice unused for years, maybe I've forgotten how to speak. I only stared. “No need to fear, my dear,” he murmured. “While they see disaster, I see potential. I am Alpha Xareth Morryn. Alpha of Crimson Dusk.”
