An unholy shriek follows as the lava spews into the sky as the smoke rises. When I smirk, then I see it. I turn to look at Starci and her eyes are wide, like she can’t believe what she is seeing. She blinks rapidly. A shriek grows louder when I turn just in time to see a colossal black phoenix with oranges and reds in the centre of her black tail feathers.
