Blackjack Chips Value Novels & Stories

Maybe they are? Stace walks over to the cashier booth “I would like fifty thousand dollars worth of chips, please.” She smiles and slides five chips across the table. I look at the five puny chips on the table. Is that it? Holy shit, that is it. Fifty thousand dollars in five freaking chips. You have got to be kidding me? Stace smiles and takes his five chips and passes them to me. “Where do you want to play, darling?” he asks. I look at him blankly. I have never even been to the casino before, why on Earth is he trusting me to do the gambling?

Instantly, the screen transformed and a table displaying photos of various chips was shown. “As you can see here, this bronze chip is worth half a million dollars,” the manager explained while pointing his index finger at the table. “Half a million…dollars…” I murmured as his words had difficulty sinking in. Each chip that I used was worth half a million dollars?! I gasped in shock before I turned and glared at Bradon. In that heated moment, I wanted to rip the mask off my face so that I could scream and yell at him without anything blocking my face.

Robert added, “Do you feel like a game of Blackjack?” Mandy smiled, “Are you ready to lose?” Mrs. H snorted, “He fancies himself a card shark, but we all know that he would lose his drawers if we played for real money.” Robert didn’t even pretend to be offended, he laughed and passed Mandy her allotted chips—chocolate chips. The white chocolate was worth five dollars, milk chocolate was worth ten, and dark chocolate was fifteen. The first time Mandy played she ate more than she gambled and laughed until she almost wet herself.

she blurted out, her voice small but filled with disbelief. “That could already buy a house…” Her grip on the card loosened slightly as panic flickered across her face. Instinctively, she turned to Ethan again. Help me. But he didn’t move. Didn’t speak. Just watched. Her throat went dry. Slowly… reluctantly… she turned back. Taking a deep breath, she handed the card to the cashier. Her fingers trembled. Her heart pounded loudly in her ears as the machine processed the payment. Then came the small pad.

So, you must have higher cards than the dealer, but not more than 21, to win. 2-9 count as their numbers; 10 to King count as 10; A's can be counted either 1 or 11 depending on the situation. In counting cards, every card has a point value and you have to count all the cards that had been used throughout the game, from the beginning to end. 2-6 are low-valued cards, and you have to count them as 1; 7-9 count as 0; 10 to A are high-valued cards and count as -1. You just have to sum up all the values of each card. Negative counts mean there are more low valued cards remaining in the deck. That's a sort of disadvantage for the player. Positive counts mean there are more high-valued cards remain

It was a three and a two respectively. Bert and the man’s other henchman were down for the count. But the moment the man at the head of the table flipped over his card, his eyes lit up. He was snickering with joy in his heart, because he opened a seven. It was a spade too! The man boldly pushed forward another stack of chips worth two hundred thousand dollars. He did not say anything but instead nodded at Michael. Michael ignored it and flipped his cards coldly. A ten!

She slipped her thumbnail beneath the wrapper of one deck of cards and opened the box, shuffling them with dealer-perfect fingers. Creighton fought the urge to admire his wife’s talent as he passed out an equal amount of chips to each player. “Whites are fifty pence, reds are one pound and blue are ten, but no real money will be exchanged,” he said. “Just a friendly game of chance, but once the chips are gone, you’re out.” “Dealer’s call,” Andrew said. “What are we playing?” “Five card stud, deuces wild,” Sandra said smiling at Creighton. “Do you still think you don’t want to make a wager?”

He instantly collapsed on the ground and wailed incessantly. This was the rule of the streets. Whoever framed others up by cheating would have their hands destroyed! “Also, another small matter needs your help, Young Master Yates.” Harvey took out a stack of chips from his pocket and threw them on the ground. “The general gambling chip in the casino is fifty billion yen. Please help me cash it in for me, Young Master Yates.” Harrison glanced at it and gritted his teeth. He said, “Harvey, don’t joke about this. These chips are the ones from Shindan Way. They have long lost their value…”

And more than half a million dollars sat in chips at my place. The dealer, a curvy, blue-eyed blonde in lacy lingerie, began to shuffle. Two full shuffles, a scatter, then a clean stack and the burn card. She moved with robotic sensuality. I didn’t care. My attention was already on the next hand. She dealt two cards to each of us. I didn’t touch mine. Not yet. Chad bet first. “Five thousand,” he said, pushing a quarter of his remaining stack forward. He was bleeding chips and he knew it.

“And what kind of ‘play’ did they do?” “Well, did you know that in a normal deck of cards there are 4 aces? That means that in a single deck there is the possibility of getting black jack only 4 times? But if there are more than one deck then you multiply 4 times the number of decks. So, in a shoe with 6 decks there are 24 aces and a possibility of 24 blackjacks! That’s not even taking into account that a normal deck there are 4 cards per suit that equal 10. 4 suits in a deck times 4 equals 16 cards that equal 10.”
