Holly tried to teach me to control the link, flirting here and there that, more often than not, led to some intense making out and a quickie behind the barn before we headed to the house for some more extensive newly mated time.
Now the boys were back, and the sun was setting over the Boland farm, painting the sky in deep shades of orange, violet, and blue. The evening air carried the crisp scent of autumn, mixing with the familiar smells of hay, earth, and the lingering smoke from the fire Holly and I had started earlier.
