Bloody Tales

Bloody Tales

As Ace flipped through the pages, the soft crackling of the paper filled the space. Ace's fingers moved skillfully over the pages, his eyes scanning each drawing with a mix of pain and yearning. As he turned the pages, I leaned in closer, mesmerized by his talent, my gaze fixed on his strong fingers gently handling each page. Each one unveiled a new design, a new narrative. On one page, I saw a boy gazing at a river, his face reflecting deep sorrow.

Pearl of his Heart

Pearl of his Heart

“Limited edition painting. If you wanna buy it, you gotta place a bid. Or, get them for free if you sign up for the club.” He shrugged, feeling victorious. The people were silent, unsure of what to say. Malorie stepped forward, still gaping at the painting. “You…” she began. “It’s marvelous, isn’t it?” Cain boasted. “It’s...marvelously bad!” Malorie exclaimed. “What the hell is this?” She pointed at the painting consisting of stick figures in different colors. The shapes were off, looking like an artwork by a kindergarten student. “This is comic art!” Cain claimed. “This looks as if a child drew it!” she hissed. “This isn’t how you make a comic strip!”

This books needs to be on top. As expected of teatae, she never disappoints with her suspense and mystery along with the romance which feels so real. Although it's more of a romance but its all worth it. I don't feel regret buying coins to read this gem. Why the review limit is so short though? 😭😭

Things You Need

Things You Need

Two things, actually. One: A wooden crate full of smashed vintage soda bottles, circa 1960s. Shards of Coke, Dr. Pepper, Pepsi bottles and the emerald green bits of a few 7UP bottles. Two: The wreckage of a homemade, cheap plywood comic book rack, littered with torn and crumpled comic books, all the classics: Batman, The Astounding X-men, Superman and ROM: Space Knight, shredded into ruin. I stared, my face rigid, when a brisk, non-confrontational but stiff voice asked, “Can I help you?”

Blank Canvas

Blank Canvas

It's Elocin who's calling. After my call with Elocin. I continued reading the book. After a few hours, I felt bored. Who wouldn’t be bored here right? Just me, in a big big office, I almost finished reading a book because the man who brought me here haven’t come back yet. What should I do? Tiktok or what? Nah. That’s not fun. I decided to roam around here and touch objects.

The Blank Exam Gambit

The Blank Exam Gambit

"How could you turn in a blank exam?" "Why are you angrier about my blank exam than I am?" I asked with a cold smile. "Did you plan from the beginning to steal my score?" The question silenced her instantly. Lydia swallowed and stammered, "Steal your score? That's ridiculous nonsense!" The Prescotts finally reacted. One of them snatched the acceptance package from my hands, inspected it, then threw it to the floor. "Do you know that forging a university acceptance letter is a crime?" Ms. Parker trembled with anger and stepped in front of me. "Evelyn has always been one of the strongest students in her class. She would never forge an acceptance letter. This is -"

Frequently Asked Questions

I get kind of giddy talking about this stuff — I’ve spent nights hunting down the perfect template before a print run — so here’s a practical starter pack. Most professional printers (PrintNinja, Ka-Blam, and IngramSpark are the big names I use as references) offer free downloadable templates in PSD, INDD, and PDF formats. Those templates already include trim, bleed, crop marks, and safe areas, which is huge because standard US single-issue comics usually trim to about 6.625" x 10.25"; with bleed you’ll often work at 6.875" x 10.5". Always check your chosen printer’s exact spec sheet first — they’ll tell you required bleed (commonly 0.125"), safe margins (often 0.25"), color profile (CMYK), and preferred DPI (300 is standard).

If you don’t want to start from scratch, marketplaces like Envato Elements and Creative Market sell InDesign and Photoshop comic book templates and page layouts. Clip Studio Paint and Procreate also have built-in comic page templates and export options that play nicely with printers. For lettering/fonts, sites like Blambot and Comicraft are lifesavers for print-ready lettering assets. I always keep a checklist: grab the printer’s template, set document to CMYK at 300 DPI, place art with bleed to the trim edges, keep important elements inside the safe area, outline fonts or embed them, then export a press-ready PDF/X if the printer asks.

One more pro tip: do a single test print or order a short run first — colors and cropping can surprise you. After a few runs I learned that a tiny margin tweak can save a lot of heartache. It’s a nerdy, satisfying process and I love the smell of fresh-printed pages when it all lines up right.
