The lion-beast snarls, violently jerking her head back to dodge. Taking that split-second window, I explode from the bushes. Hitting a full sprint, I launch myself at the wall. I run two steps vertically up the smooth concrete, grab the top ledge, flip upside down, and drop my legs. "Grab on!" I snarl. The second Chloe's hands lock around my calves, I engage my Reaper core. I violently heave her entire body weight upward. She scrambles over my body onto the top of the wall, screaming, "The Sphinx!"

"We're in the lower levels. The Architect... he’s not a man! It’s a digital upload! He’s trying to merge the Black Ledger with the station's core!" ​"Liam, get out!" I screamed into the mic, dodging a downward slash from the double’s combat knife. "There's another me! She’s—" ​The double grabbed my throat, slamming my head against a steel pillar. The world turned white for a second. ​"Liam can't help you," she hissed into my ear. "He loves a lie. He loves a florist. He’ll never love what you truly are." ​She raised the knife for the killing blow.

Thunder boomed again. He made yet another lunge for me, this time throwing his body towards my injured foot. I hadn’t paid attention to the pain, and with the adrenaline of the fight, I easily jumped, pressing off the hardened sand and jumping back out of reach. He stumbled, and I rushed forward, jumping and stepping onto his back and leaping over him. I could hear the distant thunder rolling, and a possible wave of laughter from the crowd. But I could also hear him growling again, this time louder, as if eager to be heard through the echoing thunder.

Both of her hands gripped around her waist and her face indicated something evil which I couldn't understand. "Why are you smili... Ahh!", A shriek escaped my mouth when my feet slipped against the floor. Grabbing Ms. Kayra by her shoulder, we fell on the wooden ground with our head part on the couch. My hand automatically reached behind her head, spooning it, providing a tiny lap. Our body crashed against each other as a cold shiver delivered to my spine. Somehow, I managed to keep my face apart.

Mr Vim took off his cigarette and climbed on the bed to meet Helma. Helma patiently waited for him to come to bed, he smiled making funny noises at Helma. Helma gathered all her strength and kicked him in his private area. "Ouch! You bi**h" Mr Vim yelled in pain holding his private region with both hand. Helma breathed hard. She tried again to loosen her hands but she hissed in pain. Mr Vim bent four knees on the floor hissing in pain. He cursed and threatened to kill Helma.

A rush of flames erupted with staggering force, momentarily halting Binge’s momentum, followed by a sudden explosion-tinged kick. Evee’s entire leg flared into charred, cracked skin that glowed with lava-like veins, sending her recoiling backward while blasting Binge into the very spot where his chains were anchored. She stayed poised, flames still licking at her leg, prepared for any sign that Binge might spring again.
