I stood outside, under the harsh sun for about three minutes before I broke the lock of the door in annoyance and walked in. The first thing I did was to chug down a beer and then get an ice bag to help my sore ankles. Munching a bundle of crunchy biscuits, I waited patiently for Blade who still hadn’t replied my message. After consuming six bottles of beer and countless snacks, I watched a black sedan drive in and park in the coffee shop’s driveway. Blade came out with his usual all black clothing—a big black sweatshirt, a black baggy jean, black glasses, black face cap, black sneakers— and a revolver carefully tucked by his side.

I clenched my fists, the only thing distracting me from decking him being how just the thought made my dick twitch. “And we’re projecting the day after tomorrow.” Gregory nodded. “Stay in touch.” Chandler slipped back into the brush, disguising himself in the scenery. I didn’t turn to watch him, glad he was gone. “I’ll remind you he’s the one keeping your girl alive,” Gregory murmured. “He has a marked mate. He should know better than to poke the bear.” He smiled tightly. “If I know my cousin, he does everything for a reason. It’ll come back to our advantage at some point.”

“Tie down this beast and purify his soul. [Holy Binds]!” White chains appeared from both of the magic circles and tied Phillip’s body down. Sizzles and smoke were coming off of his body where the chains touched. He screamed in agony. “Chia, Alex, now!” Tina shouted to her friends. Without any further words, both of them rushed straight for Phillip. Pummeling him into shreds with their fierce attacks. Chia gathered astra into her fist, and with one last punch, she obliterated Phillip. Creating a million pieces of him.

I shook my head slowly. Chad ran his hands through his dyed hair. “So you’re now even defending him? I mean, f*ck. Where is the Katara that used to play the most epic pranks on that guy? Where is the Katara that treated him the way he deserved to be treated?” “And how is he deserved to be treated?” “Like the trash that he is,” Chad replied happily. “He comes from trash and no matter how many fancy things he wears, or how good-looking he thinks he is, he would always be f*cking trash.”

I felt absolutely nothing for him as he hovered over me, with his hands pinning my wrists above my head. “Get up!” Chad said and yanked me to a sitting position. “Dude. Are you really going to be mated to an Omega? Her no less? What would the pack think?” I heard Kyle say. “Hell no!” Chad replied. I felt his hand grip my chin, at first it felt gentle like he didn’t want to cause me pain. It passed quickly though, as I felt his grip tighten. “I, Chad Kershaw, future Alpha of Lunar Eclipse, Reject you, Brooklyn Blakley, as my mate.” Chad ground out, through clenched teeth.

Danny's POV Four days later; The Hawaii sun was practically blinding, bouncing off the turquoise water like millions of tiny diamonds. It was beautiful, honestly, but the best part was looking at Chad. The man was sitting under a massive beach umbrella, dressed in dark clothes, looking like a total eclipse in the middle of paradise. He looked so incredibly out of place, so intensely mafia, that I couldn't help but laugh. "Come into the water, Chad!" I yelled, splashing my hands against the surf, letting the cool water spray everywhere.

Instead, he turns his head just enough to bellow over the crowd, “Pen! Pen! Someone get me a fucking pen!” Someone scrambles. A kid…no, a man, early twenties maybe, He stumbles forward, shoving a Sharpie into Chad’s hand. Chad snatches it, uncaps it with his teeth, and then he scrawls something on the inside of the jersey, then shoves it into the guy’s hands. The dude looks like he’s about to pass out, clutching it to his chest like his life depends on jt Chad doesn’t even glance at him. His eyes are back on me, burning.

They have been saving for years to afford Mark Rogers. Reynolds are middle-class people. Dr Shane Reynolds is a psychiatrist while Mrs Leila Reynolds is an art teacher in primary school. Mark Rogers is out of their budget. So I jumped in and confirmed the safety of Chad. This is the time Layla panicked and announced that a man is out of the home, but they didn't recognize Chad and Shane beat him while Chad took all of it.

I changed into my black tuxedo. “Tie?” Chad offered, and I shook my head. “Why on earth are you wearing a blue jacket?” I asked as he smirked, fixing his shirt. He wore black pants with a black shirt and a light blue jacket “Well, I want to stand out knowing all you fuckers are wearing black and white. I had to switch it up.” he winked as I scoffed. I left two buttons open, revealing some part of my chest as I looked at myself in the mirror. I hoped Octavia had worn something dark.

He’s wearing no shirt, and the structure of his chest and stomach shows that he has been working out lately. He has blue shorts on and is barefooted. “Can you try to get in contact with Russell?” I ask him and he laughs. After I give him a deadpan look, he sighs. “You don’t just contact people like Russell.” Chad explains to me as he retrieves his laptop from his backpack. “I don’t care...find a way, I know you can.” I say, giving him an encouraging smile. He sighs loudly as he opens his laptop. He then begins to click on the keys in a fast motion, and in no time, I hear a steady beep as if he’s making a call.
