My eyes scanned the darkness for movement. From hidden vents along the skirting boards, a thick, pearlescent mist began to bleed into the room. It wasn't smoke. It was heavy, clinging to the floor like dry ice. It carried a faint, sickly – sweet chemical smell. Neuro – toxin. Or a weaponised hallucinogen. I registered it instantly.

Today is the day when Mia and Blaze are going on vacation to Italia, they've prepared their stuff and everything, Blaze just did the last check-up for his pack. "Yes Mrs Blakley, we will arrange your problem since I won't be here for two weeks, contact my beta who will help you." Blaze said through his phone as Klay and Zach are playing together at rock, paper and scissors. "Rock, paper, scissors!" They yelled together loudly and Blaze cringed. "Fuck..." He muttered and glared at them but they didn't notice him glaring at them.

He let out a weak smile knowing he now had a lead and he stood up and left his office. The murder of Aaron George was still a fresh topic on everyone's lips when the mysterious killer struck again,this time it was a top elite businessman and the owner of a pharmaceutical company called Ramson pharmaceuticals. Mr Ramson was found dead in a park with similar stab wounds with that of the former victim. Awhite, partially bloody rose was placed on his chest, his dull eyes widely open, he was dressed in a cooperate wear with a white long-sleeved shirt. Visitors who came to the park found him the next morning and alerted the police.

Taken aback by the soothing sounds of the forest. They listened to it for a while before Oli asked, "What is this place?" "I call it the Ashen Grove. There's a large willow tree here that looks like it's got ash from a fire painted onto its bark. I figured you'd like it here. A place where you can go without being bothered." Kate answered and brushed against her brother. "Thankyou." Oli said. "Your welcome, I'll leave you here to get to know the Grove a little better. Follow my scent back home, when your done." Kate said and Oli nodded.

Afterwards, I head into the bathroom for a quick shower and to brush my teeth and hair. I put on my blue tank top and my dark blue jeans with my black and white converse to wear for the day. I leave my room and kiss my grandmother on the cheek goodbye. I take my makeup bag as I leave the house and head next door to Xeno and Dave's house. I want to get Xeno so we could meet up with Natasha at the mall. "Xeno, I'm ready!" I shout from outside her door. Xeno walks out with a big smile on her face and an evil glint in her eyes. "What did you do now Xeno?" I ask, shaking my head.

"It's bad. I think maybe if I open the windows and air it out, it might help some, but there's no question that it's going to take some bleach, too. Lots of bleach." Jenny nodded slowly. "Okay. So . . . we need bleach. And vinegar and baking soda." At my questioning glance, she explained, "It's good for cleaning sinks and showers and toilets. Great for deodorizing, too." She looked back at my car. "It's not furnished, is it?"

Cedric POV The car reeked of bleach, blood, and that sharp, metallic copper smell that always comes with the mess. It was in the air, in the seats, even in the damn leather. I leaned back in the plush seat of the Bentley, pulling off my gloves and wiping my hands with a damp cloth. It didn’t do much. The scent was there, lingering in the fabric no matter how many times I tried to scrub it out. It stuck to everything, a constant reminder of the shit I have to deal with.

Too clean. The scent of bleach hits me first—sharp, chemical, stinging the inside of my nose. Antiseptic lingers heavily behind it, mixing into something cold and clinical. All the blood from earlier? Gone. The mess? Gone. The chaos? Erased so thoroughly you’d think the violence was nothing more than a bad dream. Except it wasn’t. And the two bandaged women in the living room are proof.

"What is?" 'Is this a joke?' With Oliviér's bitter attitude she reckoned he was playing a kind of joke on her to get a good laugh. Before she could say something else she was let go off, and he began walking away. "Hours ago a flock of dead bodies were found, the manner of which they were killed points to Bleach." Oliviér stopped at a dilapidated mud building with a wooden door. Elizabeth followed his suit. "Wow, Bleach was here?"

Blood smears across the carpet, dark streaks that'll never come out. Good thing this place sees worse things than murder. The bathtub is barely big enough, but I manage to fold him inside. His head lolls at an unnatural angle. I turn away, focusing on the next step. Bleach. Lots of it. The motel's supply closet is a joke—just cleaning rags and half-empty bottles. But there's enough bleach to burn away DNA. I pour it over everything: the carpet, the walls, the doorknobs. The chemical smell makes my eyes water.
