He jerks his head while hissing, but I gently angle his face back to me, then start dabbing the soaked cotton ball on his lip again. Though he’s crinkling his face, he’s not pulling it away from my reach like the last time. I soak a new cotton ball, then pat it on his bruises. He has one on his left cheekbone and another one of his left eyelid that’s beginning to swell now.

"This one might sting a bit when I put it on the cut, but it'll numb it and help it heal faster."

As long as I apply antiseptic, don’t scratch it or get it wet, there’s no need to dress it.”

He reacted right away. He leaned closer and blew gently on the cuts on my skin. He tried to make the sting less. His warm breath on my skin sent strange sensation on me.

It takes me a few attempts to open - is this cap welded on or something? It might be more for the fact my fingers are smearing blood all over the white lid that is making it impossible.
