I took the cotton and added betadine. The wound was no longer bleeding. And I even applied cotton to it. At first, I felt some pain. The second smear was less painful.

“You’re bleeding! What happened?” I look over my shoulder. There’s a small bloodstain on my shirt. I must have opened a stitch struggling with my jacket. “It’s nothing. The bullet went clear through.
