Blind Date Turned Proposal Novels & Stories

How else does she explain them coming up with cohabitation as an option of all options available? Well, to save her father's company from bankruptcy, and ultimately save the lifestyle she is used to, she has to do it. With that thought in mind, she placed the earphone over her ears and rolled over on the bed. SHAWN'S POV Before he knew it, it was Saturday–the day of the proposal. He had sent Tiffany a message the previous night informing her what the day would look like and when he was coming to pick her up. After casting one last look at his reflection in the mirror, he grabbed his blazer from the bed, sprayed his body spray, and fixed the small ring box in his pocket.

"She turned down my proposal publicly. We had been dating all through our college years. I had thought things were going great between us until I proposed to her at my mom's fiftieth birthday party, and then she turned down my proposal; in the presence of everyone I held dear, and she told me she was in love with someone else," Tyler asaid with the pain still evident in his voice and eyes. "I guess you haven't been in a relationship since then?" She asked, suddenly understanding what Min-Jung meant when she said he had severe trust issues.

Jessica you were not supposed to ask him to come into your life when you know there's a woman trying to fill up the space. So what am I going to do now? Think. Damnit! The mistress proposal. What didn't I think about this? It's not too late right? I stood there, my heart pounding wild, lips dry. Blake had watched me and decided it was time to leave. He was about to get into his car. I knew I only had one chance left. So I cleared my throat and stepped closer. “Wait,” I caught his arm and gently turned him to face me. He turned slowly. From the expression on his face, he didn’t look happy. He looked like he was about to murder me.

My phone had barely lasted for three hours before it died from the drop in temperature. In the end, Julian never came to pick me up. The last thing I saw before my phone died was Natalie's new Instagram post. It was a selfie she'd taken in front of Julian's car, with half of his face captured in the frame. "If we can brave the snow, we can face a lifetime together," the caption read. The black phone screen reflected the relieved smile on my face. On the day I kept my promise and made my 99th proposal, he chose to spend it at a concert with Natalie.

“Wh-what?” I stammered, my mouth dropping. “I know it may seem a bit sudden since we haven’t been together for a year yet, but I promise you, I’m certain and ready to spend the rest of my life with you.” He said, holding my hands, but I pulled them away. “Are you kidding me? Is this a prank? Why’d you propose to me all of a sudden, in your office?” My forehead creased. “I just… I don’t know. To be honest, the whole situation with Roger and Blade– before I knew he was Blade— just made me want to not just mark you to werewolves, but mark you to the general public.” He admitted.

Tristan had truly put in the effort when he pursued me back then. He followed me around every day, showing concern and driving away many of my admirers. Unfortunately, that also led to Leon's misunderstanding. But in the end, after all the twists and turns, we still found our way back to each other. What I had thought was just an ordinary blind date turned out to be the result of a decade-long wait. Leon's proposal was extravagant, and someone had uploaded the video online. Soon, everyone knew that a woman named Esther Wilder was about to marry Leon.

I exhaled sharply as I looked at her. “I was wondering if… maybe tomorrow, we will have dinner together at my place. Do you mind?” I asked in a calm voice as I looked right into her eyes. “I won’t be available. I’m sorry!!” She quickly turned down my proposal as I felt this sudden sharp pain in my chest. “Don’t mind her, she will be very much available tomorrow.” The other waitress muttered. I couldn't exactly say where I saw her but then, I felt happy knowing that with her now, there was absolutely no way Elena would turn me down now.

The idea of the proposal consumed their thoughts, and they spent countless nights discussing every detail. Their best friend and beta, Aaron, noticed their growing anxiety. One evening, after a particularly heated debate about the right way to propose, Aaron pulled them aside. "Guys," he said, his voice calm and reassuring, "you're overthinking this. Kamila loves you both for who you are. The proposal should be simple, private, and special. Just be yourselves, and she'll love it." Aaron's words resonated with them. They realized that the most meaningful place for the proposal would be their secret spot-a cave behind a waterfall where they often retreated to escape the pressures of their role

“Using the twin. Smart. She’s blind to it all?” “Completely,” I said, leaning back. “Stupid girl. She thinks this is love at first sight. I met her at that dive bar the night of Andrea’s wedding—right after she ran off crying because her precious sister stole the show again. I played the hero, listened to her whine about being second best, and boom. Hooked. She was so desperate for marriage, for someone to pick her over Andrea, that she didn’t even question how fast it all moved. One night, a rooftop proposal, and she’s planning a wedding in two weeks. Pathetic, really.” Dad chuckled, a low, rasping sound that turned into a cough. Mom rubbed his back until it passed, then looked at me.

"Blaze? I-I thought I..." He smiled, cutting me off. “Well, after you left, I lost focus and figured we could probably have dinner together.” The proposal was shocking, much less after he left work and followed me home. I wondered. Was that the real reason, or was this another trap concerning the contract? "So?" Blaze arched his eyebrow, his smirk ever-present. "I'm not hungry," I replied, trying to ignore the way my heart raced at the sight of his tie already yanked down, his first three buttons lost like he had run a mile and needed fresh air.
