There was only a shrill, buzzing whine in my ears. The air felt sucked out. My body had no idea which way was up. A single drop of blood slid from the corner of my eye. Then another. And another... I fell. The floor seemed to tilt under me; my vision scattered into pieces. With the last of my strength, I turned my head toward Evelyn. She was still frozen in that posture, both hands cradling the bloody stone.

I closed my eyes, I turned my Eclipse inward, a dangerous, forbidden technique that felt like swallowing hot coals, I pushed my darkness into my own womb, searching for the source of that strange gravity. Blake apologetically explained. Susan nodded, and he left her to go to work. Blake arrived at the gym and heard voices. “We can train here with these weights and equipment? Will it even matter with our cultivation? I mean, I can lift these, and they weigh nothing to me.” Blake heard Dynasty complaining about the equipment in the gym. “What would happen if I added a bit of gravity to them?” Blake asked, seeing Dynasty holding a barbell with a few weights on them easily. Blake made a hand gesture, and an Array appeared under her, making her drop the weights due to the sudden increase.

Senseless float came to a stop and she zapped to a certain direction, into a hole– a vortex. Then it stopped– the pain, the floating, the blurred vision. Gravity anchored her leg, she was that much sure. Lids uncovered her doe eyes but nothing came to light, that she questioned her action and blinked again, and again, and again. She snapped her head left and right, but she is engulfed in a shadowless pitch-black air.

Heavier. I blink slowly, trying to focus again, but the edges of my vision start to blur in a different way now, darker, like something is closing in from the sides. “No,” I murmur, shaking my head slightly. Not now. I press my fingers into the dirt again, grounding myself, forcing my focus to stay sharp. “You’re fine,” I tell myself, the words quiet but firm. I try again. My hand presses down. My arm pushes. My body barely lifts this time before it gives out again.

He tried to contort his frame to a role in which he should flip his head to look what changed into below him - or if there has been whatever below him. He should now unexpectedly see his legs. My cheeks are almost numb, and when I try to open my eyes, tears are slightly escaping from the harsh effect of gravity. I see that we are actually going to fall, and that means we’re going to get crushed by the ground. It’s too far. “What the hell? What the hell? Oh, my heavens, we are going to die.” And we land on the ground.

"Let's go downstairs and watch some TV." Bonnie frowned, "uhh, are you mocking me or something?" She asked Lorenzo mentally face palmed, "No-umm-I mean, I have a blindfold-" Bonnie giggled, "So you want to go downstairs and watch TV with me, a blind girl while wearing a blindfold?" Lorenzo cleared his throat, "Yes." He firmly said, raising his chin up. Bonnie only shrugged, "Alright." They went downstairs and sat on the huge leather couch. Lorenzo switched on the TV and handed the blindfold to Bonnie. "Care to help?" She smiled and took the blindfold from him. Bonnie put the blindfold over his eyes and he turned around making it easier for Bonnie to tie it.

My body seemed like it was about to give out as I felt even weaker now. " I'm so sorry. " I say. My vision blurs and the horizon becomes dimmer. I blink and it only gets darker. My eyelids start to drop and I try my hardest to keep them open but I can't. I take one more look at Conri and the blood dripping down its neck before everything blackouts.

The tension in the line snapped, but not completely. But just enough. Enough to throw everything off. My grip faltered. The support failed. And suddenly— I wasn’t moving forward anymore. I was falling. The world tilted violently as gravity took over, my body dropping faster than my mind could process. There was no time to react. No time to correct. No time to fix it. It was just an impact. And then everything went black. * * *
