Araknee: The Lost Princess

Araknee: The Lost Princess

"Phew, that was close." "Too close," Clifford added. "Voight is up to something. Let's buy the map and get out of here." They pulled me to the counter, where they spoke with the bartender. I took that opportunity to look around. The tavern was almost dark, except for a few torches that offered light and the whole place stunk of alcohol mixed with sweat. Sake bottles, goblets and huge beer mugs sat on every table. The men all drank heartily, some engaging in conversations or throwing darts. Whilst others, received lap dances from scantily dressed women.

Sweet Damnation

Sweet Damnation

I can hear their screams and shouts of both agony and rage making me smile in satisfaction. I'm just glad the whole shop was soundproof. “These would be a good addition to my collection,” I informed him absentmindedly while reaching for the bleach on the cabinet below the table. “This would hurt but you'll live,” I mumble as I washed his wounds with bleach. Scream after scream erupted from his mouth while his body convulsed uncontrollably as the pain intensified. “Pl-please ju-just ki…kil…kill me.” He croaked out in a barely audible voice before passing out.

Black Spirits

Black Spirits

Diego followed the purple mist which led her to a room with no door, the singing had now grown stronger. When Diego walked in the room, the lights that lit the passageway had completely died out. The room was dark except for the purple mist that poured out from the Black Spirit. “Why have you come?” the Spirit demanded in a mocking tone. Diego replied calmly “Your singing…is distracting me from thinking.” The Spirit chuckled, “Thinking?” Diego took a few more steps. She found the Black Spirit on the wet floor sitting with its head facing down. Diego couldn’t see her clearly because of the darkness, but she knew who that was...

He winked at her. Wynter sat up, catching his meaning instantly. Her lips curled into a playful smirk. "I see where you’re going, Mr. Reigns," she said in a sultry voice. "But... we don’t have soundproof doors on this cruise. And honestly," she added, leaning closer, "I wouldn’t want to scare the marine life with my screams." "You know you're turning me on saying those words," Shadrach murmured, gulping as Wynter leaned closer.

Fang Love

Fang Love

“Bloody fang, Vamptini, Dark Fangroni, Blood on the beach, Full moonscow, et cetera et cetera.” What in the world is going on here? I’ve never heard of these. There is no such thing. The bartender smirked. “Try this, it's on the house.” He handed me a dark red drink. It looked thick. I questioned if I should drink it. Me being me, of course, I drank it. The bartender stifled out a laugh at my reaction. It was strong, but it tasted weird. Weird. “What is this? It tasted a little weird. I smacked my lips in distaste.

Lust of a Dragon

Lust of a Dragon

The Drunk Sturgeon Tavern. I didn't even know the portside bar had a name. Come to think of it, Avalon's main export was fish, so the name fit. A loud ruckus filled the bar. Shouting and hooting. Crashing. I wanted to see what was happening inside as the tavern filled with the noise of drunken singing. Yet, for a split a second, the doors slammed open as two men sauntered out, clearly intoxicated and laughing with one another. I jumped back several feet, nearly bursting out of my skin. My heart pattered like the beats of a hummingbird's wings as I drew my lower lip between my teeth and mustered up all my courage to burst through the swinging double doors.

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

Black and scaly with a beak full of jagged sharp teeth. In the distance a child cried, the sound cutting through the bleak night, as the moon shone down on quiet streets. I made my way across town to Sapiens, an old tavern that still operated on the outskirts of Briarshire. An establishment that had been passed down through generations and had even withstood the great Lycan wars from two and a half centuries ago. With my enhanced hearing I could make out the lowly chatter of patrons and the giggles coming from the women who worked there. It was a bar, but it also doubled as a bordello house.

John Case
This is a wonderful story. This book could stand alone, but if you read all the books in this series, this book will open a beautiful world. Once you start to read you have trouble putting it down. Highly recommend as well as all the other books in the Delta’s Daughter Series.

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

Shadow Moon

Shadow Moon

Intrigued by this mysterious girl with silver hair and ember eyes, he resolved to get to know her better. Offering her a ride was his way of extending an olive branch, an invitation into his world. At first, Aqua hesitated, politely declining his offer. But as the heavens opened up and rain began to pour down in torrents, her resolve softened, and she accepted. The moment she climbed into his truck, Damon couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement. The old Chevy pickup may have seen better days, but to Damon, it was more than just a vehicle—it was a symbol of his roots, a connection to his past. He drove it with pride, a tribute to his uncle, who had passed away. His uncle was the only one

The Best Thing I Never Had

The Best Thing I Never Had

Timothy told Patrick that they were going to celebrate his achievement. At 17:25, Simon picked them up. The Cargo Hold restaurant was nestled in the stern of the Phantom Ship with a stunning view of the majestic Indian Ocean and shark tank. They were mesmerized when they saw the most spectacular settings. It had the most unique and sophisticated ambiance. It was a delight for their eyes. The waiter welcomed them with a beautiful smile and ushered them to the table near the Shark tank. The atmosphere was amazing and unique. The waiter gave them the menu and gave them a few minutes. Patrick ordered the Catch of the Day, a fresh Dorado grilled in Lemon Butter served with grilled veggies.
