Hellblades
I gasped, the words dissolving into another mouthful of seawater.
I tried to twist away, tried to kick and swim in the opposite direction, but the dolphins blocked me, pressing firmly against my sides.
“What are you doing?! Let me go!” I cried, my voice breaking. “We have to get away!”
The fin drew closer, circling. The water churned, and I saw it then a massive, gray, endless teeth flashing in the brief roll of a wave.
A shark.
The iron taste of my blood was a beacon. My head spun with dizziness, and fear coiled tight in my stomach.
