"So, I have a theory that something malicious happened inside our school that made the blind man that angry... to the point he was ghosting the school." My head suddenly ached, feeling the same spinning sensation before. I saw the blind man lying down the library as I have dreamed of. There was only him who's left inside. There was a gun. Probably mom's gun she left. The blind man's right hand hardly tried to reach the gun. A couple of trials and attempts made, until he successfully reached the gun and held it tight. He was bathing in his own blood, as he tried picking up a book placed on the floor. It was old and big. He tried to sit, hardly moving because of his blood lost.

She could hear the gentle creak of the door Helen pulled it open. "There must be a way..." Mayari stood up from her chair and turned on her heels to face the sorceress. "... to cure my blindness." Helen came to a sudden halt upon hearing her apprentice's statement, delivered with unwavering certainty. Despite having been informed by Doctor Ashley that she would never regain her sight due to her optical nerves being permanently damaged. Even an eye transplant offered no hope of restoring her vision and magic could only heal what was meant to be healed... Yet, Mayari's intuition was defying something that is believed to be impossible in her situation.

Harriet's voice thick with emotions as she answered their unasked question. Blind. They took a moment register the word. "He is blind?" Sabrina asked, shocked. "It's difficult to believe, isn't it?" Harriet gave a rueful smile. "He looked Elizah in the eye," Sabrina debated, still not convinced. "They took away his sight but not his strength. He has enhanced his other senses to compensate for his lacking," there was a tinge of pride in Harriet's voice as she boasted about her mate. Elizah had never felt this much respect for anyone before.

His fingers tilt my chin gently but firmly, like I’m fragile glass. "Nothing is wrong," I lie and take a sharp inhale through his nose, hoping he will buy the lie like always. “You are blind, aren't you?” His tone is too controlled, which means he’s furious. "No, I'm not," I try to argue but Hannah interjects. "Yes she is. And if I were you, I would take her out of this pack now!" I hear Daniel exhale sharply next to me, “You go blind when you use your ability like this and you couldn't tell me?”

“I wondered when you’d visit me.” I looked around, unsure if she was speaking to me despite the eye contact. “Are you talking to me?” “No, to the other rudely staring woman,” she bit back. I lowered my eyes. “I’m sorry.” “I’m used to it,” she said with a grin. “I just like fucking with people.” “Are you blind?” I asked. “Sorry, that’s probably rude to ask.” “It’s fine,” she said. “I am blind, but not in the way you usually think. I can see with my magic. It’s not the same and I miss some details from time to time, but it works well enough for me.”

I lost my eyesight in a car accident when I was a child. But ever since I found this thing, it gave me perfect vision. But with that came a lot of creatures trying to take it from me."

"Indeed, the knowledge about them is very obscure, and most people that see them are taken as crazy. You have to have the gift in the vision to see them, like little Luna seem to have, or my mother had. That, or know the spell that makes them visible around you. Her Harry can do something so vicious to her. "I am sorry. I am so sorry." She kept on mumbling to herself blaming herself for his change of personality. She had turned him into the worst being. The humiliation she felt. She knew he had once felt that too. The shame she felt he was gone through it too. Her pain was nothing against what he felt years ago and no amount of torture on her can justify his pain. But Harry was blind. He couldn't see that in hurting her he wouldn't gain anything except he might get a momentary satisfaction.

“All this time… it was you?” “Yes,” I confess, the word tasting like ash in my mouth and her eyes, though unseeing, seem to pierce through me. “Your blindness... it’s a consequence of seeing the supernatural in its purest form. It’s a protection, a mercy in a way. Your mind couldn’t comprehend what it saw, so it shut down your sight to protect you.” She stops her futile attempts to push me away, her breaths coming out in short, unsteady gasps. Sensing her hesitation, I gently place my hands on either side of her head, careful not to startle her.
