Dark lenses shield his eyes, his expression unreadable.

"Tasha, you’re not thinking straight. You’re drunk and confused, and you—" “Stop!” she interrupted him, her voice trembling. “Just... stop.” She took a step back, her hand resting on her forehead as she closed her eyes for a moment. Her world felt like it was spinning, and she couldn’t think straight. “Please, just let it go. I don’t need this right now.” Robbin’s eyes softened, but his anger was still there, simmering just beneath the surface. He reached out, his hands resting on her shoulders as he tried to steady her. “Tasha... you don’t know what you’re doing right now. You’re not thinking clearly.”

Raising her befuddled gaze up further, she saw the leggy blonde climb off of Wade as the entire group stared over at her. “Kandy!” Wade shouted and made his way around a flustered Daisy to lift Kanda up. “Wha-what ran me over?” she whispered. “I am SO sorry!” Daisy replied. “That would be me.” She shook her head. “Are ya all right?” Kanda saw two Daisys and shook her head. “Um, no. Unless you have a twin now too? I don’t think I am.” She slumped downward. Wade caught her weight. “Whoa, girl.”

Shadrach replied, nodding. Shadrach followed Tessa, but she momentarily forgot that he couldn't see. She turned around and started heading toward Wynter's room, and he followed the sound of her footsteps. He felt a sense of relief that Tessa had forgotten about his blindness; he disliked having to rely on others, especially those who showed sympathy toward him. He preferred to think of himself as independent, someone who didn't need anyone's support. Tessa pushed the glass door inside, and since Shadrach was far away, the door closed directly on his face, smashing his nose.

Desperation was making the girl foolish; drinking unverified herbal draughts could kill both her and the child. Martha reached into the dark shelves and pulled out a small, unlabeled vial of obsidian glass. She turned back to Seraphina, her face drawn tight with grave severity. "This is a potent scent-masking draught," Martha said, holding the vial just out of reach. "It will dull your scent and protect you for a short time, but it comes at a price. It is harsh, and it will weaken you." Seraphina reached out with trembling fingers, her eyes fixed on the dark glass. "I'll take it. I have to."

I don't know what I'm going to say, but it doesn't matter since she's blocked me anyway. "She'll never screw you." Tasha is suddenly beside me again, her nails making little half moon imprints in my skin. "Everyone knows little miss roguebait can't wait to get away from here. As if she'd risk getting involved with someone who'll never leave." "Fuck off, Tasha, not everything is about screwing someone." I reply, but her words hit their mark and she must know it, because she strolls away towards a group of guys, an exaggerated sway to her hips. She links her arms through one of theirs and pointedly looks over her shoulder at me, before leading him towards the cupboard.

Her beauty takes my breath away, but that isn’t what truly floors me. Her eyes, her eyes are a dull shadow violet. She’s blind.

"And where do you think you're going?" A voice said behind them and they turned. It was Charles and some other guys. There was this dangerous aura around him as he fixed his eyes on the trio. "You have to watch out for the demons. They'll be after you now that your identity has been revealed and they'll try to kill more humans than before to bring back the war beast as soon as possible..." Priestess Luciana's words rang a bell in Ashley's ears. Moving a step forward, she said, "What now? What do you want huh?". A smirk appeared on her lips as she questioned the confident looking Charles.
